My advice for "24p guy" would be to ask: what's changed since you bought? If the answer is related to paying the mortgage, heating or food then sell all and only play on AIM with the biscuit money.

No-one will ever know when a share goes up suddenly, if it is a spike or the start of setting a new base level.

When buying (if worried about blowing the biscuit budget) buy with half the money. Ditto when trying to decide if to sell. Prepare to be wrong lots. You need a long term average of 51 decisions to come good versus 49 poor to make money slowly.

Never under estimate the value of patience. Never over estimate the potential damage of hype.

You have been doing a lot of work collating that lot. Must mark up a sentinel image with each one showing the locations and make it my newest screensaver.

Am I right in thinking there was a partial result for the really good hole in Newcrest's report that was fully reported in GGP's RNS the following morning?

I guess Newcrest have a gazillion sign offs to get through before information is published, whereas GGPs equivalent meeting would be GH and CB stopping for an afternoon tea and choccie biccie on Zoom to sign off the release.

And they'll be M&S double coated choccie biccies, not supermarket own brand Digestives after the 11th set of "good" results.

The best bit of footage from the InnPin was the director having kittens as they set up for the filming. Macaskill, no rope, stood there on the top with bike cool as a cucumber.....

I've only been on the InnPin once in my life, many years ago and do recall not having a bicycle with me, but was grateful I had a rope. It's a very airy walk / scramble on the way up (I reckon bits of the Aonach Eagach are worse for actually having to climb!) and the gratitude you don't have to go down the way you got up is immense when you can abseil onto the grassy ridge barely 30ft away courtesy of having the rope.

Macaskill is surreal... (And a ludicrously fit athlete).

I love his "behind the scenes" footage where he shows the days and days trying to land one trick - and when you splice it all together you get 90 seconds of footage end to end of about a dozen tricks that took weeks!

.....and Friday's embarrassment falling off the bicycle was more painful than anyrhing I'm feeling now - apart from when I sneeze & I've given up coughing.

Applying logic (ie. I am guessing).....

The Scallywag camp was there to support the local drilling crew. It has now gone so the drill crew must've gone - exploration drilling complete for now. So the last core came out of the ground within the last few days..... But it still has to go off to the lab and have its numbers crunched.

We may get earlier results if they do partial reporting, say of half the holes, but judging by when they started at Scallywag and the lack of reports up until now, I think they are going to report everything in one hit.

The eyes of the world (or at least those into gold mining) are on GGP so it is not as if they need to whet anyone's appetite with a trailer.....

I'm with you in presuming they are on the move to explore new pastures and haven't merged into the new HAV camp. I think Paterson was next on the original plan, followed by Blackhills. I didn't think that was logical at the time but it may be to try and beat the weather. I don't think they fancy getting trapped by any rain at Paterson and having to wait several days before they can get vehicles moved anywhere. Blackhills is closer to the frequently used road to HAV and I could be misreading the satellite imagery utterly ineptly but I think the ground is rockier and more solid for vehicle traffic. Might be easier to get to and fro during the worst of the upcoming season.

Tried to check out Paterson but I'm not convinced I "have my eye in" yet to even know where it is in the midst of red sand, rocks and sand dunes. The radar image (a good ten days away) will light them up like a beacon if they set up their camp there - if we can't spot any action on the next two daylight images before then.

As for Scallywag core reporting I'm going to guess they stopped drilling the last hole in the last day or two. If they ship cores now let's assume four to six weeks for the results to come back. We should get every hole reported before Christmas?

Our eastern neighbours appear stuck in their first hole. Beginning to think they may be digging with a blunt rusty spoon they have spent so long there.

Finding where it has gone may involve checking on a gadget with a bigger screen, which will involve getting out of bed, tricky most mornings but even trickier when I feel I want to eat Ibuprofen for breakfast.

.....I never realised my feet were so far away, getting socks on is quite a challenge.

Historically I think some targets don't become targets until both gravity and magnetic anomoly align. This may have changed recently as I believe breccias are only seen on one not the other. Can't recall which way round. Yes on magnetic is my guess which even as I type it I think is wrong...

Not fit for much today.

Had an entanglement of mountain bike, gravity and a very hard surface yesterday - hopefully not on anyone's GoPro (ooooh, the embarrassment). Didn't sleep much with pranged ribs and have decided I am in the mood to tackle last year's tax return today.

Where are the painkillers....?
