Hope someone who knows all about the technicalities explains this whole (alleged) GDXJ buying "shortfall" over the weekend. I was in theory part way through buying & selling GGP in an effort to shuffle holdings from trading accounts into ISAs & between SIPPs.

The buy button has great attractions, the sell still seems unreachable.

Would like to know if there is still huge buys needing filled.

A non-RNS from our neighbours. Their cores are not due out of the lab until January so no real results (you can tell I ain't a geologist, can't you?)

Lovers of core-porn may be disappointed too - the photos look more like a kitchen worktop catalogue to me.....

The fact they are going off to other targets in their tenement in 2021 doesn't sound too optimistic for what they think they may have in their first three cores. If they had hit something good surely they would do more holes in/around the vicinity?

And we also appear to have a fresh day image from yesterday too....

There was a post yesterday about how many million shares per day they require to get to the required percentage by Friday....

GH is a young chap, he will not rest on his laurels atop the proceeds from the millions of GGP shares he owns, but be like a greyhound out chasing the next rabbit. Otherwise he will get bored as a millionaire. That tallies with what my boss said to me when I said my five day week was going to become four, in anticipation of three, two and then rapid irrelevance.

I assured him I wasn't going to get bored.....

I was moderately intrigued at the Juri JV announcement when it was stated that GGP would be chief drivers. I know NC have done this sort if setup before, but now it strikes me as CB being let loose, keeping some independence, in his own play area to prove to the world his research and geological theories were correct about where to find gold.

Am I correct in thinking he has never sold any shares / exercised warrants - or is that utter rubbish?

One of my own "reasons to think I'd sell" is connected to CB's actions.

So, watch and wait to see what GH does with all his share holdings and warrants.

The labs (the mineral analysis type) will not clear the decks nor keep working through. Oz has squashed Covid by imposing very strict lockdowns for months. Christmas is the major holiday right in the middle of summer and the entire working population is going to take the maximum possible time off to be with the friends and family, krank up the barbie, open a few tinnies and celebrate the end of their earlier lockdown sacrifices in full on style. Core analysis can, quite frankly, wait.

The other labs will be cycling through three thought processes:
Food
Food
Food

......although we'll be back into the Sentinel groove when the Juri stuff starts up.

I'm also curious about Antipa's activities. They stopped about a month ago so their core results should be ready, allowing for the lab to be shut over Christmas & New Year, early Jan?

Trawled around the Oz weather forecast late yesterday. They were forecasting floods for the Great Sandy Desert!

The line of thunder cells all seemed north east of Telfer and probably all missing HAV.

The up coming month looked like rain / clouds fairly frequently, which may thwart satellite updates....... The decline will certainly kibosh it all.

So after a disappointingly cloudy satellite I rummaged around t'internet and found a forecast for floods for the Great Sandy Desert. Cloud streaming in from the ocean and heaps of thunder cells - it's all a decent distance east of Telfer (& HAV) with its 90% humidity and a day time maximum of mid-30Cs... almost chilly for the region.

Might be touch and go for the next few satellite images being useful - more rain forecast during the month coming up.

Confession:- I enjoyed today's dip (up to a point). Bought more, sensibly inside an ISA, and gosh darn it, still couldn't hit the sell button in my trading account for the matching amount of shares.

I've told myself I'm going to set automatic sell limits for Monday and walk away from mouse hovering procrastination. Really really really I am.

And I'm not setting "Mickey-type" trigger limits either!

I shall be just around the corner pouring a gentle offering of tea (milk, no sugar) for the Known Poster (mercedesman) who many years ago mentioned GGP elsewhere, before moving on to the Investor's Arms to drown myself in lager toasting all the attendees on this forum who kept me here through the dark days of EG disappointment and then into the golden light.

Initial thoughts:

They've got this MRE from 125 holes, slightly over 1,000m per hole. We won't be able to spot new holes when they have a decline up and running, but should be able to judge how close we are to an MRE update when we count the holes reported and know there are usually eight drills active and will potentially 400m less cover to drill through.

They had enough data to be confident enough to map the south-east, and to also do a bit (but not all) of the northern area of interest inside the "dome". So 3.4M Au / 160kt Cu is probably 1.5 of the 4 current known areas of interest.

I like page 5 of 14. Specially the loop of breccia to the north that implies more tonnage of ore that should be proved up in time.

I like the word "open" scattered often enough across the report implying more to come in multiple directions. I guess they are waiting for their decline to be able to drill more effectively and find the bottom of HAV.

Must go and sleep. A dip would be handy tomorrow for some trading -> ISA share shuffling. Not entirely convinced the market will oblige.

HAD 084 was a stunning core, although there will always be a fondness in my heart and a bulge in my ISA for HAD 005 - I do recall someone on here doing a one line post after that early result stating "They will mine this - the decision was made right there with that one core."

Anyway, back to HAD 084..... that's the core I want in a wooden display case mounted above the mantlepiece.
