Perhaps. Undoubtedly a moving share price gets traders' interest, regardless of the company.
With companies where prospects are poor, there is big debt, they are unprofitable etc, what you see is a rapid pump and dump even within the day, or two at most.
That's not what we've seen here. There is no smoke without fire. It rose on anticipation, perhaps aided by the MMs (but there are MM conspiracy theories abound and I don't believe them necessarily - often it's a simple case of supply and demand) and most certainly aided by a gathering momentum of traders and investors. But then, those are the standard mechanics of share price movement!
What we've seen since is a typical retrace to around the 50 day MA, the start of a healthy second leg up, scuppered by a discount placing, and here we are: cashed up a 1 month closer to delivery on one or other of the big contracts that this company is vying for.
