K3 - that 3-4 million euros is revenue, not profit. Based on the interims, and it should be possible to extrapolate it as they are established wells, the projected annual revenue is about 3 million euros (2 and a bit months production). But the gross profit is only about 700k euros. The cost of wages will destroy that and more. They can't even demonstrate that they can make a profit from the existing wells and they want to tap shareholders so that they can drill more?

Here are a couple of additional reasons that explain why the current share price is fairly logical and not in the least bizarre: 1) Loss making the last two years in a row. 2) $43 million debt with an mcap of ~$35 million.

They've reported a profit of £100,000, with debt of ~£1.6 million, and the CEO states he remains cautious in his outlook. Result: 300% rise. Pump and dump classic.

Yep, happy with £5k in here (he says!). Looks to be due a good rise from here. The big money stays in the other one - hoping that's going to come really good in the next few months, and then just keep giving once the funding block is cleared.

I would suggest that an mcap of £80 million is appropriate at start of construction, which will be in at least 6 months time. Now you're suggesting that an mcap of £50 million (15p) is appropriate today!? It's just not realistic. You never know though, with an influx of crazy money, the savvy will make some dosh and the naïve will be left impaled on a spike...

It's not the true spread. You only have to look at the actual trades to get a feel for what's really going on: Buys are going through in the range 5.15-5.3p (depending on volume of course) and sells in the range 4.9-4.95p. So not actually that bad.

Make that the 26th of April, rather than May!

Just noticed. Take a look at what happened after the most recent island formation, around the 26th of May: The very next day, the share price rebounded from an intra-day low of 4.5 (on the island day), to an intra-day high of close to 6p and a close of 5.6p. What we have seen today is totally out of character with the chart over the past three or four months, and I expect the island will prove true and yield a nice rebound tomorrow.

Like I said earlier, I think what has caused this drop is the bid falling to 5p, triggering a couple of stops, which then lead to a further drop in the bid, which triggered a couple more stops. It could well be as simple as that. All the stops are gone now, and investors are presented with a bargain as a result.

Looks like a few stops have been triggered there at 4.20pm, giving a false impression of the strength of the bears.

Not reading too much into it, but it's just one of those small positive indicators. Bigger pluses are: 1) Cashed up. 2) Share price now looking quite settled and at a big discount to the excitement last month. 3) A month closer to those big news contracts which could transform the company...
