It can only be positive for Uskmouth IMO.

The company is green energy so that is a plus.
Yes, the GFG debacle has affected the SP and that is what you are now and have been seeing over past few months.

Uskmouth IMO may get the green light and EP.
Meygen 2 is also a potential upside.

I feel that the plans for Uskmouth or something similar will blossom in some way either in the UK or overseas.

The SP has hit lows and this will have been factored in.
Although I am pro SAE I am a little miffed that they have not yet communicated any plan B for the sub-coal fuel pellets.

IMO if there is any good news in the coming months then the SP should hit double figures but again is my opinion.

I feel that Uskmouth has a better chance now than potentially a few weeks ago.

Having read the last few RNSs and also the planning information I am more hopeful now than I was a few weeks ago as I can now see that the conversion is not new and neither is the plant.

This is the new stance taken from SAE and I fully agree with it.

The issues arise in my opinion from waste movement and other process related environmental impacts including and not limited to emissions.

Having looked at the moratorium I now thing it is going to be whether this is actually classed as a new project as it is not a new plant and as such its main purposes from inception was energy creation which has not changed.

I would like to welcome feedback and thoughts from others.

I can feel your optimism but like on previous posts from Feb onwards this is not a rubber stamping exercise.
This comes simply down to Politics, pure and simple.
If the new moratorium released in March is used to the letter of the law then this will become dirty by means of others with influence not taking to the process that sub-coal will give including the moving of waste into Wales for burning.

I am pro Usk based on the principle that to get to electrification requires diverse and renewable energy stream that may not initially be zero, however given the plastic pollution positive from sub-coal and the energy it will produce then to me this is a no brainer, however politicians generally have other motives.

With regards to Tidal. It is as if the comments i made last week were heard with regards to spinning the positives on what SAE are a world leader at.

Again hope this is an ongoing upward trend.
