Many thanks for this. Why has HCEG has 'given away' 20% of its option to buy the remaining 80% of Fertiligent? What do you think would be behind this decision? Reading the announcement itjust seems odd, particularly so since there does not appear to be a consideration involved.

Surging up again today, the 'touch' being 106p bid for 50,000 and 108p in 2500 shares offered. The MMs are being sqeezed, it couldn't happen to nicer people!

Up again today, s.p. now 95-98p and the nickel price is about $49604 per tonne. Is time to top slice? The commodity prices are becoming a little scarey.

substp, what's the real deal here? At 7.00am today HCEG announces that Nigel Wray has resigned from the Board. At the same time they announce that they have put $50K into Fertiligent making a total investment of $150K so far, and that they now own 19.81%. At the same time PHIL and Nigel Wray have put in $100K and HCEG have 'given' PHIL/Wray 20% of HCEGs option to buy the outstanding 80% of Fertiligent (for $2M now or $4M later). If Fertiligent is such a good thing why do you imagine that they did this. Was it perhaps to do with future financing from Wray? Did Wray have to resign because of a need for transparancy etc? What is really going on here? This coy is getting to look more interesting by the month.

Perhaps that is all anyone thinks that they are worth. Since the market bid price is still under 37p it would seem that there is no other bidder in the wings. I intend to hold on just in case and also to get the full t/o price whilst avoiding any brokerage costs etc.

Please will some kind person explain why it is that the overwhelming majority of the trades in these warrants are delayed publication. Is it because the MMs would really prefer not to have to deal at all so that by delaying they hope to attract as little attention as possible, or what?

According to the Ridge site they appear to be calculating their nickel price at an 'average' of $11023 per tonne. Today's nickel price is $45500 - $47000 per tonne. They have put gold into their calculations at $420 per ounce. Interesting!

The all time high for this stock was in 2004 when it hit 191p.

BQE. You may care to to read the whole of the relevant sections of this morning's RNS on Bioquell. The longish statement throws some light upon the present state of play in the international de-contamination sector and thus is possibly slightly more than of passing interest to those of us who seek to understand the various aspects of HCEG.

Sadly not, have been in and out. First in May '04 at £1,08 then out at 84.00p. Then again in May '05 at 82.50, there I sit, the classic stale bull. The real lesson here is, sell in May and go away! The only point of disagreement between us is that you think that it is an interesting company, from my point of view it is like a nagging tooth-ache when I can't find a dentist, probably on a Friday night! Hopefully someone took my suggestion seriously; now the ALS sp has gone through the roof. Somewhat more efficacious than SEO, HCEG,CHP and all the rest of the London quoted stuff that we are all hooked on!

The CEO has just lent another £2m secured against the patents. I really would like to get out of this one, it has ben dragging on for years and is distinctly boring, yet the moment I sell the stock will probably double. All a bit of a 'mare really.
