The thing is that they haven't, or rather hadn't thought of going outside the medical market, that is until about an hour or two ago. The person I spoke to said that the stainless steel cleaner is marketed for medical instruments and was not initially intended for general commercial or household use. This person that I was talking to became very excited and probably by now a flotilla of 'sorry they are in a meeting, can I take a number and they will call you back' type situations have already been planned. Personally, I think it is enough to have to endure the vicissitudes of investing in this company without having to act as a 'pro bono' marketing consultant as well! If they act on the advice given they could well more than double their sales of this particular product and any others that have the potential of being marketed outside of the medical sector.

The product is not being retailed at the moment. I got the impression that ebiox is really cooking, there appears to be a buzz of excitement and a total commitment to and belief in the products, this has been heightened by the recent approvals. Wow! It is so rare to find a company where anyone is excited about anything!

The EBIOX stainless Steel Cleanerer should now be winging its way to me having just ordered it using your link. It ain't cheap at £13.70 + £4.24 shipping + £3.14 VAT = £21.08! I hope that it really, really works otherwise my wife will kill me for wasting money on a product that is probably twice the price of what we are already using Meanwhile I have to await the sales manager who 'is in a meeting' in order to find out if it is sold in any shops. At this price level I suppose that John Lewis would be the best hope. I will let you know later if the product works on our stainless steel kitchen sink.

Brochures have to be prepared, web sites re-built, the sales force has to be be prepped up to understand what it is that is they are selling, stocks of Trionic has to be obtained, internal billing systems adjusted to reflect a new product and so on and so on. If what you wrote is correct then it is really impressive stuff. Hoe the world changes, it wasn't that long ago when there was speculation on this site that Ebiox could be sold in order to fund the development of the dilator.

The question is whether or not HCEG will finally come right and in what sort of time-frame this is likely to occur, my present thoughts say a couple of years. Not sure that a placing is quite the same as a rights issue. With a rights issue eveyone has the opportunity to keep their % of shares whole by subscribing for more stock. With a placing, such as has just happened, in order to keep your same % of the company you have to go into the market and buy more shares to the equvalent of the amount that you have been watered down. In this case you need to top up with about an extra 10% on your existing holding. You appear to be right in your advice, this is no widows and orphans stock, also you are probably right to suggest that one should have a small punt, forget about them and see if you have doubled or halved after a year. This is why I have often suggested in the past that the way in are the warrants that have about 15 months to run, you get more bang for your buck.

If you were to take the time to read the 71 pages before this one and then to follow all the links and read them, then at that point you MAY have a reasonably well informed overview as to what is possibly going on with this company.Then having absorbed all this you need to read the companies web site. After all this you then have to decide about the overall economic outlook, for instance will there be a massive slump between now and the New Year? Only a fool would venture to tell you to buy them, you really have to do your own research (DYOR), use your own judgement and be 100% responsible for your actions. All in all my general advice to newbies is that if you make an investment in anything you must be prepared to lose all your money without it taking one piece of food from your table or even changing your life-style in any shape shadow or form. If this is not the case then perhaps it would be better for you to put the money on interest in a decent bank. Sorry to be blunt. Personally I am gambling and looking at a £1.85 per share target, this only to pay off the children's mortgages and the CGT. Whether in actuality it will happen, or even whether I will live long enough to see it happen, I have simply no idea. Man proposes, God disposes!
