Chitta123 ref 02.53 post The problem the BoD would have with another placing is that they would lose what little credibility they have left. At the time of the last placing part of the justification was that the funds would make it easier to obtain a better rate on a debt facility. If they now ask for another equity raise they would need to explain what has happened to the term sheets that they apparently had. I would also note that existing shareholders seem to be increasingly unwilling to put their money into HARL.

I have read the Belfast Telegraph story and the wording was ambiguous so I I tweeted them and the reporter who wrote the story and sought clarification of the meaning of what they said I never got a response so I emailed DAERA.

I have just received this rather cryptic email from the Marine Licensing Team.

I can only interpret this to mean that an application has been made. Which is interesting as the No Gas Caverns fundraising page shows they have only raised 70% of the £15,000 target.

I note that the SP shown on this page https://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/watchlist/watchlist.html differs by slightly over 1% from the SP shown here. Does anyone know which is right?

I do not think EQT did itself many favours in the Q4 results presentation by not focussing the presentation on the financials. A downgrade from the inhouse brokers is not exactly a vote of confidence. I am holding for now.

The turnaround strategy was always going to be a multi year strategy so JW and AR got the Remuneration Committee to agree to give them a bonus to cover the commencement of the strategy. In exchange they agreed to stay with the company until at least 31 December 2021.

I would draw your attention to page 72 which is note 7 to the Annual Accounts for 2020 the last year available. Arun's base pay was £398,530. This is well short of the £1m you mention. On top of this he received a bonus of £519,906 and a pension contribution of £7,733 to give a total remuneration of £926,169. Again short of the £1m you said he is on. I would observe the following note on page 72 under the table I took these figures from 'Executive directors have been awarded a lock-in bonus in 2020 that covered the extensive work done with the acquisition of H&W, change in strategy along with historic deliverables and updating regulatory studies for Islandmagee Energy. In addition, it locks the executives in for a period of two and a half years, expiring on 31 December 2021 to deliver the turnaround strategy.' It was also confirmed at the December 2021 general meeting that there was no bonus payable in 2021 so again his pay will be below the £1m.

I have just checked the Belfast Harbour website and the European Causeway is confirmed as departing at 1500 hours today. The passenger ship Norbay is planned to arrive at 21.20 today. I do not have a scheduled departure date for the Norbay.

At the December general meeting which was called to seek approval for the issuing of shares in relation to the capital raise JW said that they would be improving shareholder communications. This was after an acknowledgement that there was shareholder dissatisfaction on this. Since then we have not had much change in the way information is or is not communicated. With the article posted yesterday about the welding academy the list of things that news is awaited is growing. A trading update is now well overdue in my opinion.

mcadder ref 07.45 post I have read that article I then tweeted both the Belfast Telegraph and the journalist who wrote that article to seek clarification on a point of distinction. I sought clarification on whether, when they say launched legal proceedings, they were referring to the sending of the pre action protocol letter or whether they were referring to the issuing of an application for leave to bring the judicial review. It is the latter that would amount to launching proceedings. The former is a procedural step to avoid the launching of judicial review proceedings. In neither case have I been given clarification on that point. I am trying to get clarification on whether the judicial review has been launched. If the judicial review papers were posted they may still have not arrived.

I would note that the No Gas Caverns crowdfunding page shows that they are short of their target by just over 30%.

Speedy_Gonzalez ref 16.12 post I would not necessarily expect an RNS tomorrow as this would depend on when they had the Court issue the application and then how it is sent to DAERA and HARL. If it is emailed or hand delivered then an RNS tomorrow is possible. Otherwise it might take a few days if posted.
