ThisTimeNextYeer/Nobby31 The issue I would have with disposing of either Methil or Arnish is that this might impact on HARL's ability to deliver on fabrication contracts. Both are close by the Scotwind Lease Areas. I think we need to see how things develop over the next couple of years.

Hebridean9 ref 13.35 post I agree with what you say about the timing of any contracts. However, as ThisTimeNextYeer there is hope that Arnish will get at least one contract. Also if you look at the Stornoway Port Authority Masterplan this new Deep Water Terminal that is being built will have a link road going straight to Arnish. There is, therefore, an incentive to use Arnish for work on that side of Scotland.

There were a number of conditions some of which need to be complied with before any of the work covered by the marine license can start. To comply with all those conditions will take until Q2 2022. It will take 36 months to build the first stage of IslandMagee. Can you point to any factual basis for saying that IslandMagee is dead in the water. I would observe that depending on how it is calculated the period within which to bring a judicial review has either only just expired or will not expire until 8 February. Whether the issuing of a judicial review would prevent the construction starting is dependent on a matter that I am not going to go into on this board.
