Chitta123 re 18.00 post the amount of shares sold comes to 0.07% of their previous holding. Last time they sold a similar amount about a day or two later they filed another tR1 for the purchase of a similar number of shares bringing their holding back up to 13%. We should wait and see if they do the same.

The figures for where they hope contracted revenues in FY23 and FY24 are in my view achievable. So I think the genuine shareholders have much to be hopeful for.

If she was appointed as anything other than an Independent Director, Lottie13 will correct me if I am wrong, this would have needed to be disclosed.

Iamsailing ref 08.55 post So it is alright to cast aspersions about the conduct of the members of the BoD but do not give them an opportunity to respond to the allegations. That sounds to me like a complete disregard for the rules of natural justice. If you have concerns then they should be put to the board so that they can have the opportunity to respond to the allegation. When I have put concerns to the BoD I have been given a reasonable answer. Whether I accept the reasoning is actually irrelevant. The point is that the answer is on the record so we know what they say the position is as they see it.

As I will be on jury service unfortunately unable to attend so I wil have to nominate ThisTimeNextYeer as the official scribe for the meeting.

Iamsailing ref 09.55 post You do realise that this update only covers FY23 and FY24. As I understand it even if the caverns were to start being built this year after the JR they would not finish being built until the end of FY24 so could not contribute anything until FY25 at the earliest.

RichardMcV ref 07.39 post What is said about FY2024 tracks with my 9 August post on the when thread. I identified a docking for an FPSO in 2024 which is currently out to tender. HARL had worked on this vessel in 2012 and completed the work on budget and two days early. Importantly the contract value on this one potential contract as far as I can tell from what is in the public domain would in a worse case scenario make 25% of the contracted revenues that HARL are aiming for in 2024.

It should attract more work with the conversion of the ex HMS Athelstone to come.

Avyererdowt ref 13.07 post I agree with Nobby31's 12.57 post. I see value in the yards from the fabricating footprint in the yards. Arnish is I believe integral to the local authority's long term economic plan for the area. Indeed the masterplan has a new link road from the Arnish yard to a new Deepwater terminal being built about a mile down the road which is due to be ready next year. So people will be given a complete solution fabrication at Arnish then delivery from a new deepwater terminal. Also all the yards are close by at least one area for windarm developments. With in excess of 500 turbines needed for currently planned wind farms there is a large potential need for fabricating that HARL could tap into using the yards.
