I'm going to look for trading opportunities with GDR. But I don't think it will be a proper investment this year or next unless it gets a BIG buy in from IIs. AIM really is a minefield these days more than ever, so caution is paramount with stocks like this.

My feeling is GDR will get the big thumbs up from NICE in the end. But that study finishes in November next year, and they'll probably have to wait another 6 months after that to get the green light for full rollout across the NHS. Sounds like a bit more revenue will come in due Scotland rollout but big revenue (for GDR) won't start until 2027 in my view. FDA application hasn't been submitted yet and to get meaningful revenue from USA they will need insurers' approval, so I see USA as likely to be generating significant sales from some point in 2027 as well. What GDR needs in the meantime is some IIs to come and do a major fundraising, say for £15 million. Rather than GDR having to do multiple small fundraises that only keep it going for another 11 months.

Just maybe a proper II will step in this time. If Scotland confirms full rollout of RNR1 beforehand that might give GDR more credibility with II investors.

From what I can see all they've said about latest research is what's in January corporate presentation. It seems positive but obviously would be nice to know more. It sounds as though they are talking to potential partners about results in more detail though:

The fun part is how GDR's test will be funded in the USA. It won't be covered by Medicare. It might not even ever be covered by insurance plans. My guess is it will take some time to become imbedded in care in USA, especially as it could well be part of "out of pocket" expenses:

Usually the FDA require evidence generation on US soil. But would expect it would be much less than the evidence require by NiCE. The FDA are not making a decision on funding whereas NICE are. In the USA it's the medical insurers that decide that part of it.

They need to generate certain data in the US before they submit the application, is my understanding.

I expect GDR will do an RNS when they actually file the application.

Seeing Thermo Fisher involved in this, I written off GDR's stroke product from ever being commercially viable. But they obviously got some kind of buyin from Scotland. We don't know exactly what it is. I could be wrong. But no way is GDR's stroke product going to be the main solution anywhere. If it only gets used in 20% of cases in Scotland, that adds up to very little for GDR. To me GDR's best bet is still MT-RNR1.
