Cash at bank of £5.2m at 30 June 2024 so my guess is they have £1.6m left now, but will shortly get £800k tax credit, so that would actually get them through July. But obviously they'll be trying to sort this out before then. So May or June will be cash call.

I guess if you're an 11-year old child, mid-June does seem a long way off. lol

Any fool can work out they have about 3-4 months of cash left. (unless they've been keeping big sales secret - which would probably be against listing rules anyway)

You're so lucky. Everyone I know has a bad tale to tell (including doctors and nurses). A lot of people (who can afford it) are turning to private hospitals to queue jump as well.

Gloria's post does highlight a relevant point though. A lot of NHS/NICE policy is ultimately determined by cost. (They weren't able to agree a deal on breast cancer drug Enhertu recently due to pricing so haven't adopted.) It's not necessarily directly relevant to GDR but when they've got so many crises going on in the NHS their priorities are very basic.

It was also this idea of people losing a hell of a lot of money on this and then feeling better because of the positive health impacts. Even the big ESG investors won't touch anything unless they really sure they'll be able to make a profit.
