It's very difficult to say Loveuloads. As the previous fundraise isn't necessarily a perfect guide to how the next one will be. Would say it will definitely be significantly lower than share price is when it's actually done. But we don't know what the share price will be. Say share price was 3p, I would expect a minimum 30% discount, so that would mean it could be at about 2p. But discounts vary. Sometimes placings get discounted by a lot more than that.

NICE said lab testing was favoured option for CYP2C19, so GDR's solution should be secondary to that. My guess is GDR's solution gets some kind of supporting role.

My guess is Scottish rollout will suggest CYP2C19 might not be economically viable\ profitable as it's only used with certain cases. Though if they can keep it in the product portfolio for at least a few years (a portfolio of 2 products lol rather than 1) that might even eventually change with a bit of luck and adoption in other countries i.e USA. As to specialst commissioning (NHS England), you have to assume this is not happening unless they issue a notice of a public consultation as is there process (which would just be for one month, 2 months or 3 months). I think highly unlikely as NICE process is well progressed, though taking some time.

There is still good potential here (even if another challenger does come in with rival product for RNR1). The reason the share price is currently at 2p in my view is because of the funding issue.

It would go up a lot if they got FDA, but this won't be until 2026 according to GDR. Really silly to say £1 though. 10p would be very good considering the share price is 2p.

The fact that they did it all at the same time shows it was definitely co-ordinated. I not saying it negative or positive because I don't know for sure.

I doubt they know yet what terms of placing will be....it's not really in their direct control is it. But you never know, mabye it is a good sign that they bought in. It just that cash is running out fast at the moment.

It might be. Time will tell. It could easily be disastrous if they come along with a deeply discounted placing next month.

I learn't from internet that the circus is a big thing in Russia. I didn't know that. It's a shame as not really feasible to visit there at the mo.

Why the Russian circus?

It's very uncertain what will happen for GDR, beyond Scotland by the sounds of it. NHS is in a complete mess. Scotland are meant to be rolling out, but that doesn't mean the rest of the NHS ever will. Recently NHS turned down a drug called Enhertu at the last minute, for breast cancer, over pricing! Then there's the US, with completely different set of parameters going on. Anyone's guess what will happen there in the end as well.

But to have any chance of being taken seriously by investors (though maybe they aren't) they need people with certain affable credentials.

I think there's a good chance GDR will get something out of the stroke product, but it's pretty obvious GDR's test won't be used in every case. (With the HCV test they used to have it was completely defeated by lab testing in the UK) Always an "emergency" justification (or needing results very quickly) is needed with the POC.

I think the problem is you get competition from lab testing. Unless it's something that's needed in an emergency, like the baby hearing gene.

If they go back to trying to use it for diseases that would be a big change of strategy. Possibly if another pandemic hits, they might try to do that. But lets face it, really didn't work out for them last time. And they tried to use it to detect HCV before and that didn't work out commercially either.
