EM, Just giving you some perspective. They tried to get this platform into use in various ways before. These last two tests are the final roll of the dice. The hope is to try and get commerciality from pharmacogenetic testing for emergency use. There's no way this will be going out to pharmacies again for some other kind of test/application. They tried everything else already.

There was a pilot done years ago involving pharmacies with GDR's hepatitis test and a big US pharma company. The test never got off the ground commercially and GDR has long since mothballed it. This was despite them getting encouraging results from the pilot. In the end, the NHS went down the route of ramping up lab testing capacity for hepatitis instead.

Yep, isn't the final NICE decision still officially anticipated in 2027? (Though news on Scotland adoption (bringing possible extra £450k in revenue per year expected quite soonish - my guess is first half of 2025).

I meant after they do the next fundraise, Popeye. But the newsflow timing makes me think even that would be a bad idea. I think news of Scotland implementation might fall a bit flat given the numbers involved. FDA and NICE are different, but both seem a long way off to me.

Bottom line is they have a chance of getting some kind of implementation from Scotland this year for AIHL and even maybe something for the stroke product (budget is separate to England and Wales). But imagine if it got both those, max revenue is only about £900k per year extra in total (Scotland much smaller deal commercially versus England!). NICE approval and FDA are still a long way off. Bound to be another placing in the Spring even under best case scenario, if there's news on Scotland by then.

PH never was on shareholder list as it didn't hold the shares as an investor.

I made overall 6% profit on GDR. Including all the trades. I said that at the time. I never said I exited with a big profit on GDR!

At one point I was up well over £300k though on paper......

It was just the lack of commercial progress made me realise GDR was really struggling against regulatory/market barriers. (and of course lack of cash). Funnily enough all that is still true and SP is way lower than when I sold out.

Must be one of the weirdest shares and boards on LSE. 90% of people posting on here now are completely deluded.

I wish I had the drugs you're on to make up that crap. Then I would never have any pain again.

James, you are way out on your timing. There is no way this company will be in profit in 2025. It's basically impossible.

As to the odds of eventual success, I would put it as 50/50. On the one hand, yes it now has 9 units using AIHL. But these are not yet funded by the central NHS budget. You could argue that if the NHS really wanted to roll it out nationwide they would have already started to by now (over 5 years since GDR first started trialing the AILH product!!) On the other hand, it's an achievement that they've managed to get to 9 units without full NICE support. So you could argue that either way.

Everyone should doubt these things as neither is certain:

" Roll outs over the entire NHS will happen. Anyone doubt that??"

"Then on FDA approval sales in the USA will rocket. Anyone doubt that ????"

Rubbish. It won't delist. Their best chance of raising funds is through halfwit PIs and bucket shop investment firms (who can profit from pump and dumps/short-term spikes). There won't be a takeover/buyout anytime soon either, not until they actually start to generate decent/consistent revenue anyway.

They bound to suck plenty more people in with the next fundraise. Obviously the placing price will be a lot lower than it is now. Goes without saying.

Of course, they'll need someone like PH to backstop it again (even if not official underwriter) as they won't get PIs to stump all the next £5m in one go.
