Sales skills isn't the issue EM. The main issue boils down to the funding position/budget of the buyer. They CAN buy but many CANT buy.

Gloria, I think they got to 10 using RNR1 last year. 9 in the Greater Manchester area and 1 in Brighton.

This year they got one hospital in England adopt the stroke product and various others (not sure how many exactly) are adopting RNR1 in Scotland. I don't think they'll necessarily be any more announcements in that vein in the near term. The obvious thing that COULD be announced though is that they've finally managed to submit the FDA application for RNR1. But to me, this will likely be in the second half of the year. So could well be a news drought and then GDR announcing yet another small placing in late summer. They'll likely use news of FDA application to mount a bigger £6m placing. So I see potential for a total of 3 placings this calendar year (including the one we just had)!!

PH bought in again as market maker not investor. So they must be confident about selling the shares ASP to PI punters. They probably aren't comfortable with larger placing at the moment because daily trading volume on this share is not currently that high.

It's just not going to be investable until they can announce a larger fundraise IMO.

I thought they'd be raising £6m in April or May at a price of 0.5p.

As it stands, they're either going to be doing another fundraise for £1m in August or a full £6m raise by then. The trouble is they'll only be able to do the full £6m if they can actually file the FDA application for RNR1 as it needs a major carrot to boost volume and interest again.

I think it could well be nearly the end for this company in its current form. The problem to me is that it appears FDA approval is a very long way off. So, it might be difficult for them to generate the necessary volume/excitement to get the much bigger fundraise they need anytime soon.

Sounds like they've made very little progress with FDA:

It's a small amount of money. Surely just buying a bit of time until he can sort out something longer term. Another placing in 3 months?

Slacker, it's because not many places have the funding in place to buy it at the moment (due to the level of "recommendation" generated thus far).

Not really, because you also need the thumbs up from various national bodies that are the equivalent of UK's NICE.

Sorry to say I think there'll be quite a bit of disappointment here once interim results are released within the next few/several days or so and there's an update on the cash position. I suspect they may even announce something on funding straight off the bat.

EM, market access tends to be very slow and tricky for healthcare products like GDR's pretty much everywhere.

GDR reduced their headcount between 2021-2023. But they increased in 2024 and through to now. It looks to me like they are at about the level they were previously or still slightly below it.

And of course, NHS England have so far not even said anything about specialist commissioning for AIHL.

Chances of specialist commissioning happening in April appear at zero. NHS England runs a public consultation of either 1, 2 or 3 months before it can take a final decision on specialist commissioning. Personally always thought it was unlikely for AIHL given the NICE's existing well-entrenched process to come to a final decision. And yes, now we also know that NHS England is to be abolished, which to me makes it look even more unlikely.
