Paul Welch, Buccaneer Energy's Chief Executive Officer, said:

"We are excited to have secured a drilling rig for the Allar 1 well, which we believe will be another successful location in the Fouke area of Pine Mills. The Allar 1 is located north of the Fouke 1, and if it comes in as expected, will be produced at the field allowable rate of 124 bopd gross, similar to the initial rates of Fouke 1 and 2. If successful, the associated gas volumes produced from this well, along with those from Fouke 1 and 2 are intended to be used as the initial volumes for a potential Bitcoin Mining facility located in the field. I look forward to updating everyone on the results of this well in due course."

Below is from 11mths ago - and yes I know the mill's been delayed yet again since then, but the POG has risen by 50-60%, and Ag even more so. So is this final delay intentional, with assumptions and advice being that gold was going to rocket. I mean who sells their Krugerrands if they think they are going to be worth a lot more in a years time ;-)

Also the statement in last months presentation that an "Experienced engineering team identified to oversee operations" makes me think we are extremely close to an RNS being released to the effect that the mill is now operational.

"Great Western Chairman Brian Hall commented: “Western Milling is in the final stages of bringing its mill on to pilot production. Essential work is being finalised, primarily to ensure that operations meet the requirements of stringent health and safety regulations for a mining operation, at both state and federal levels. Great Western is supplying tailings from the OMCO Mine for first production from the plant together with initial batches from its stockpile of mined ore. Shareholders will be well aware that this project has taken much longer to reach this stage than we initially expected but we are confident that ownership of a local mill will provide a significant opportunity for the Company to process historic waste material as well as newly mined ore. Following a recent site visit, we expect production start-up in early December."
