Great Western Mining Corporation PLC (GWMO) announced the assay results of a Reverse Circulation (“RC”) drilling campaign at its West Huntoon Gold-Silver-Copper Project in Nevada USA. Au-Ag-Cu Mineralisation Confirmed at West Huntoon. GWMO said “The results of our focused but limited drilling campaign over part of the vast area which makes up the Huntoon Copper Project have delivered strong potential for significant gold and silver mineralisation in addition to the copper potential which we had already established. Confirmation of precious metals mineralisation over the Crown Point area is a major advance for the Company and will add an important new dimension to our 2026 exploration plans as we move forward, which will include further testing of the Crown Point granite.”

Comment: The newly rebooted GWMO, in the same jurisdiction as the star play Guardian Metal (GMET) seems to be gaining increasing traction. Given how beaten up the shares have been, if there is even a modicum of progress this year, we could see a decent revival.

What sensible person would take on this role if they knew that the latest exploration activities discovered nothing.

There is a reason why he is becoming CEO, and just the fact that we're getting one after all this time, to me, indicates positive change is on the horizon.

This should be viewed as extremely positive news to the markets - But hey ho, let's see ;-)

Mirasol - yes let's look at the RNS, which is bringing significant news to the market, hence the renewed optimism here today.

​This RNS provides a clear roadmap for the next two months of production. Whilst, the January uptime drop to 60% might seem steep, the "clean-up", as you know, is a standard procedure intended to restore the flow rates of the wells to their full potential, which could lead to higher revenue in the spring of 2026.

So stop being a Debbie Downer, it's Xmas.

Oh, and we are currently No6. in the top ten of todays hot chat topics, it's been a long time since that's happened - many will now be watching very closely for the return to maket.

I would say that this positive news will be met with strong investor optimism, leading to a sharp stock price rally when the suspension is lifted - which I believe will be over the holiday period.

Trafigura are being supportive - say no more ;-)

Was it not the Weald Action Group who implied that the cost of the clean up would be approx £1m - but then they would overestimate!

Personally I believe the cost would be significantly less than that.

I did say the other day that PH were playing games!

Jonnie - I was merely highlighting the fact that GEX were not listed on the AIM market, but on the Main Market, which of course is more highly regulated.
