Strange that it was you who at 1028hrs on the 19th May posted the following .......

"whispers that Angus Energy is closing in on a game-changing deal—massive U.S. oil & gas asset, already gushing black gold. Could be the start of something very big… 👀💥🇺🇸 #OOTT #AngusEnergy #OilGas"

Then at 1210hrs an RNS pops up .....

"At the request of the company, trading on AIM for the under-mentioned securities has been temporarily suspended from 19/05/2025 12:10pm, pending an announcement and publication of an admission document."

And, another at 1242hrs .......

"Following recent market speculation, Angus Energy (AIM: ANGS) announces it has entered into a non-binding agreement to purchase a group of producing assets located in the Gulf of America ("Potential Transaction")."

"Given the nature of the Potential Transaction, this would constitute a reverse takeover under Rule 14 of the AIM Rules for Companies and accordingly, the Company's shares have been suspended from trading."

Your post at 1028hrs was the only market speculation that I could find which implied that ANGS were on the cusp of closing a mega deal - so were you responsible for the suspension?

Now you've got the audacity to come on here today and say "If the share had not been suspended and I could have sold when Herbert left, I would have. But with the shares suspended, we’re all stuck watching this unfold"

On another matter, just because a director leaves a company, does not mean they can avoid being implicated if there is evidence that they made false or misleading statements to induce investment. If this goes the way you suggest, then I am sure the Insolvency Service would be interested.

I for one certainly did not invest in ANGS because the board were being negative at the beginning of this year - it was the opposite.

Who's saying they are not going to get Hussar drilled first as there are a lot of hurdles to ovecome before that transaction can go ahead.

Also, I really can't see them doing a share consolidation when there are only 127m shares in issue.

From Chairmans statement in March 25

"Angus has delivered strong revenue of £21.802 million and EBITDA of £10.803 million. Historic hedges, set at less than 50% of current spot gas prices which stop in June 2025, will lead to a substantial improvement in cashflow and overall profits going forwards."

So what happened? - I'd like some answers, got a significant amount of money in ANGS due to statements like that.

From RNS on day of suspension .....

"In accordance with Rule 14 of the AIM Rules for Companies, the Company's shares have been suspended from trading on AIM with effect from today. The Company's ordinary shares will remain suspended until such time as either an admission document is published, or an announcement is released confirming that the transaction is not proceeding."

Samshot - I don't believe they were silent.

Below is an extract from RNS dated 23rd April this year, which is only 6mths ago. - they give good reasons why the delay. Since that RNS they have stated that the engineering team has now been identified. Is it possible they have put off until the POG went up significantly.

"However, due to ongoing contractual commitments, the small Muletown team has not had the capacity to begin non-stop operations at the mill, while 'stop-start' operations would be expensive and inefficient, yielding no meaningful returns for shareholders in the short term."

"Given the prevailing record price of gold, the absence of any other commercial milling operation in the locality and a number of recent approaches from other local claim owners with available material, the joint venture partners are planning to expand the Western Milling project. This will require some third-party financing and the introduction of a specialised mine engineering company with the relevant expertise and a proven track record to upscale the mill and bring it on to full commercial production."

Samshot - not sure if you watched that video that appeared on youtube approx one month ago.

It shows some views of the mill from 'Streetview' from July this year. It's certainly progressed considerably.
