This could be another 'smoke and mirrors' situation until proven.

All you need to ask yourself one question, has money received in the Matad bank yet?

H1 alone won't be enough to cover for Matad's future operational costs.

H1 will not be a quick fix and nor will the flow rate be an immediate boost back to or exceeding 821bopd as initially reported.

Matad will require both time and funds to work the well in different stages, ensuring the works done on a safe and controlled manner. They may need to chuck further funds into H1.

This ain't instant noodles, in fact there's the possibility H1 will never return to previous heights of 821bopd.

CEO Statements Vs Actions!

Let's look at some past statements from the CEO and his actions.

*When MB said 60-70% COS, all wild cat were dusters

*When MB said ongoing JV interests from multiple parties, no deal in the past 10 years

*When MB said exclusivity and support from the Mongolian Government, extensive bureaucratic processes hold ups

*When MB said fully funded, he then raises funds a few weeks later

* When MB said the company needed funds to help the company stay afloat after the COVID period, he got the funds and went and blew it on Gobi wildcat.

*When MB said Gobi evaluated to be a good prospect, it turned out to have no sign of oil

*When MB said H1 flowed at 821bopd, he then choked back the well for a maintained flow rate of 200bopd

*When MB said Heron has millions barrels of oil potential, he then goes bid for the Borzon Block and thinking of moving onto that block instead

* When MB said H1 is a quick easy fix with a cheap sand screen, he then says in the next RNS alternative methods may be required

Would you wanna trust such man on your investment decisions?

We should all focus on the FACTS.

Facts are Heron1 is still in a state that needs remedial work.

Fact is that nobody knows what the final flow rate will be or how much it costs to remedy the wells.

Fact is that no one can guarantee the final flow rate will be higher than 200bopd or that the well can be fixed at all.

Fact is that MB original quoted a cheap simple fix, but then in the later RNS referred the situation as alternative modifications may be required.

Fact is that the language has changed since. From what appeared to be confidence and certainty to more work required and uncertainty.

Fact is that Matad needs H1 to come in or else all other plans will fall apart because the forecasted revenue will play a major role in future operations

Fact is that JV is not guaranteed either

We are in May already and there are still no revised figures from H1 and H2 or Gobi. In fact, I'm not sure if remedial work has begun for Heron.

We should be as we have been out of the winter period. Matad are sure taking their time. Still no JV deal or first sale.

Let's keep it real. Nothing has ever been achieved and to-date not a penny of revenue into the Matad bank.

The market has lost confidence in Matad and rightly so.

It's time for Buck to deliver, no more talks, actions!

No good saying they WILL do. How about reporting to the market they HAVE done.

This company operates on new hopes and raises, but nothing ever materializes like the JV talks that has been ongoing for 10 years

Cash is low in the Matad bank, they will require funding and a placing is most likely.

The long term holders have all lost money here. Gone are the days people invest based on words and trust, we want results.

If MB is that incompetent, then perhaps he should find a job at the local corner shop selling chewing gums instead.

It's no secret Matad is short on cash.

They have approx £2million in the bank which is not enough to cover for the future operational costs.

Oil sold from H1 would not immediately resolve the funds shortage problem.

MB will go for a raise in my honest opinion. This is the sort of stuff he does. Telling the market one thing and then doing another.

We shall see.

£14.9million of funds required for starters just for Borzon.
