We've had some decent buys coming through over a few days now. At some point the price had to rise. At such a low SP that rise would be steep. It all depends now whether the buyer(s) is/are still buying as to whether the SP goes up or sinks back down.

The placing ensures the purchase of the remaining 50% of Redmoor. I'm actually surprised the market hasn't reacted more favourably as it looks like the SP will close below yesterday's close.

This isn't a placing just to keep the lights on, as so many are. It's a placing to ensure the company expands at a sensible rate with an excellent resource in Redmoor.

If you bought at the recent bottom and sold at the highest point today you will have made a profit. For the rest the spread swallows up the profit.

Just at 0.3p. Hardly a pump.

Would be interesting if they did. As it's the wrong country. :-)

Thought I'd re-post my deleted posts to show how innocuous they are. A few home truths for the environmental mafia maybe?:

Colin should be able to tell us about Croatia bidding. After all the Slovene environmental mafia would be happy to see AST go.

Geonergo were previously producing gas with no problems. AST get's involved, as a foreign company, and suddenly there are massive issues. Maybe Geonergo should buy out AST, or parent company Petrol. They would have the cash and are backed by the government.
A third party Slovene company could be interested. Gas was being produced at Petisovci for many decades before AST got involved in November 2004. Clearly a Slovene company would find it easier.

I don't trust anyone involved with AST in Slovenia. They are a duplicitous lot. When I mentioned Russia some years ago I was ridiculed as why would they be bothered by a company the size of AST? They're still in the background, and pulling the Slovene strings. The EU? The EU are just a convenience for Slovenia to be a member of. Russia takes priority, still.

We think these shareholder meetings are for the shareholders to meet the BoD. It's also for them to meet us. They would have seen the enthusiasm in the shareholders and decided a small placing to make up the money for 50% of Redmoor would be just fine. They can also justify it as being worthwhile because it allows the purchase of the full 100% of Redmoor. So all are winners, apparently, in their eyes. If we are then the SP needs to climb. That's still to happen.

Some say we have till the end of the month. Normally an estimated timescale would have some room for possible delays. An end of the month timescale should have included that. Therefore it's now getting tight.

Known gas in the ground, ten wells already in place, Eastern European countries wanting to reduce reliance on coal but not wanting to rely on Russian gas and AST are up against some environmental nimbys? And the Slovene government are cowered by them?

The SP is at 0.2p. Any lower and it'll disappear. We don't know who has the shares. It could be the MMs or a background buyer. Small buys yesterday pushed the price up so it looks like the MMs don't have a lot.

My point to New80 was because he appeared to be baiting you at a time when you and others could be in some financial trouble. To bait someone when the SP is at such a low level is troubling, but not unusual currently on social media.

No one's 'in the know'. At least no one I would know. Maybe the Slovene government or ARSO are buying in. Maybe a Slovene company is buying in to get AST cheap. After all the objections only happened after AST took over from November 2004. Before then there had been gas produced from Petisovci for decades without any objection.

Price rising on small sells would indicate MMs are getting short? Someone buying up the sells in the background?
