I would think they are not proceeding, or at least not in a way that has to be divulged to the market, because JP knows litigation can take many months. I'm sure they would rather have the money owed within days by the normal channels, even if it is late.

We had unflattering news on Winx and IW2 which the market didn't like. It's why the SP is back down at 1p. The market needs to be impressed. FOMO isn't happening. Two or three times bitten and the market is now very shy.

First two reactions were very strange. They should take a lot at the way the majority of other AIM companies are run. SML have been let down by the Cobre main client. That has screwed up investment in Redmoor and we are just waiting on the ramping up of Leigh Creek which is happening exactly as advertised.

It also occurs to me that there may be some confidentiality concerns with the seismic results. If the results show possible gas at shallower or deeper levels the environmental lobby may go into melt down with concerns that AST will drill more wells. Colin is walking a difficult path at the moment. At least I hope he is doing something and more than just walking.

Permits are not happening without a political change of direction in the Slovene government. Seismic results appear to have got lost and either show little or would require money, we don't have, to be spent on acting on the results. JB has disappeared after an 'illness' at the last presentation. Litigation is expensive in financial and time. Financially they could have no win no fee litigation but it will take up a lot of time and would put AST in a bad position for cooperation with ARSO and the Slovene government. The only possible item at Petisovci right now is the compressor. There's some doubt over that and it wouldn't be in place until Q4 in any case. So a surprise good news RNS would be very welcome but unlikely till Q4.

I'm not surprised at the fury expressed here but we have no choice but to just wait until news.

I'm certainly not posting to try an alter anything here. I'm just trying to find out if anything is happening from all sources. This forum can be useful if someone else has found something. Because of the confidential nature of things with this company, as the environmental activists are trying to stop anything happening, we'll only see anything by RNS or newspaper article posted on here.

If this could, just could, reach 30p on a farm out I would expect any FOMO to push the SP up past 2p, 3p and more even at this stage. Of course if 30p is pie in the sky ...

I haven't 'got it wrong' reso. The Slovene government has been extremely uncooperative after AST took over in November 2004 when Geonergo had been accessing gas already for decades. Xenophobia? It only seems to be wrong to be so in Britain and a few other countries. You are again trying to be 'clever' and patronising. You are not succeeding. Only the reality of an uncooperative government is succeeding, but it's the Slovene people who will have to pay more (to the Russians) in the long run, financially and politically.

If you read my posts you will see I don't defend Colin. He is the man in post with the experience of 4+ years dealing directly with Slovenia. Find someone else with Slovene government influence and I will happily call for him to be replaced. Until then he's the devil we know, or do we?

I have also been severely let down. However I blame that mainly on the Slovene government. With gas known to be there and ten wells in place it should have been just fine having Geonergo running the engineering with Colin just keeping the finances in order. Geonergo had been producing gas at Petisovci for decades already. As an accountant that's all that should have been needed. It would appear that Geonergo have either been completely ineffective or don't wish to go up against their government.

Can't see why they can't do both Bluedreamer. The compressor should increase income to fund a move.

I feel the BoD is now in as good a shape as can be expected. An oil and gas expert as COO, previous Director with oil and gas experience as Chairman, a previous CFO at Eland Oil and Gas and a CEO accountant with several years experience specifically dealing with Slovenia.

Be careful what you wish for in advocating dumping Colin, unless you know of someone with CEO experience in an oil and gas company and with considerable influence in the Slovene government. Then by all means volunteer the name. Otherwise it's just malicious nonsense because you are annoyed with Colin.

The SP is a measure of success or otherwise. Currently it's otherwise.
