You see 2 months as nothing at all? I would suggest 2 months after a final date for any payment is excessive. I would suggest any company doing that is looking at the situation and seeing how they can use that $4 million elsewhere and keep SML waiting knowing SML won't do anything because it's known that litigation is lengthy and inconvenient. I would suggest any company acting like that will get their comeuppance when sometime later they want something from SML or another company they do business with. I would suggest some companies forget that their reputation in business is worth something.

I could only criticise the company by saying they appear to have been relying on the $4 million coming in. Even a bit late would have been fine. It's now almost 2 months late. I would think JP is treading a fine line between being hopping mad and diplomatic towards the Cobre main client.

Ah! But they are making it up! With AST over the years every missed deadline from the government and ARSO has been because some other reason was plucked out of the air. Now it's mistakenly calling it a conservation area when it isn't. You should take a look at the Lendava and Petisovci area on Google Earth. It's not exactly the picturesque region you find in much of the rest of Slovenia.
