The deramping technique can be very subtle and annoying. Someone posts a strong post in favour of a share. It gets largely ignored. Then a while later when the post has disappeared the deramping returns when new readers won't have seen the sensible positive post(s).
20p is not an excessive amount, even from a partial sale of just MT. 20p = about £600 million with 3 billion shares in issue (including options). Selling MT for £1.5 billion would provide that and a further £900 million for the company to invest in WK. You can make up your own figures but MT should sell for in excess of £1 billion and possibly for £2 billion.
You would then have a special dividend of around 20p a share and still have your shares. They would then rerate to conform to the company's new found wealth.
The current SP is a nonsense when that is considered. The current SP can only be because the company is in Russia with the understandable reticence of many to invest in Russia with their history. If the company provides a special dividend that is money in your account here in the UK, not in Russia.
