The BoD was having a hissy fit because the meeting voted down their option of doing a placing. Poor form in an RNS. And the company has income from PG10 and some from PG11a. So an unncessary comment in the RNS.

A couple of large sells going through at around 0.92p. They either have more money than sense or it's down to them having stop losses, which have been triggered. Actually also stupid with a share like AST and it's volatility.

Is it a bit like a starlings murmuration where the starlings flock together at dusk? The de-rampers come out together through some same sort of causation? Certainly if it's organised they would wish to be seen as individual. That way it would look like they are many who are apparently genuinely against a company.

I've seen quite a lot of it here and it often just feels that there are two types of people. There are optimists who see the good things and there are pessimists who just see the bad. That is why I try to see both good and bad. That way I'm able to make a more informed decision.

It is difficult when you've bought in only to find out the situation changes and / or you've been poorly informed. Many say Colin has poorly informed investors here and get very bitter and twisted. Others say the same but see that Colin has also been misinformed or has found out later that something has gone wrong. PG11a is an example.

There will always be extremes of personalities on here. They are more likely to shout and scream. The others are only apparent when the market moves the SP up or down.

Just joined in again. The downers on here seem to be concentrating on the poor BoD performance and the poor performance of the wells currently in use. So glass half empty.

The SR should introduce a company with funding and expertise to open the existing wells that have been closed after they had been drilled.

Those left in the data room still will be those with expertise and funding otherwise they would not still be there. Why would they put in the time and effort if they didn't know what they were doing or didn't have the funding?

We know the BoD have been poor. The non execs have had other jobs as well and Colin, the only exec director, is an accountant who has built experience dealing with the JV partners and the Slovenian authorities.

We now have a sea change in the situation with Colin getting help from the British Chambers of Commerce and the Slovenian government now aware of what is going on from ARSO.

The gas is there in the ground. The current wells need re-stimulating and the many other wells need reopening. That needs funding and O&G expertise. Those in the SR will provide that. Am I repeating myself? It's a circular argument which is now unwinding to create a group pf companies with assistance from both the British and Slovenian governments to get the gas out of the ground and either to a new processing plant in Slovenia or the existing one in Molve with INA.

1.2p equals an MCap of £27 million. Value of gas field about £200 million. Sentiment improving by the day with AST.

Don't quite see the point of kelsbells and Gerry this morning. They're talking a lot of speculative nonsense just when the company is starting to come good, but I also don't see the point of them this morning.

Reso, I don't make investments on the basis of posts on forums. You should know there are many posts on here which have ulterior motives for the benefit of the poster. Even you appeared today at the point in time of the drop in the SP to gloat again. Your general gloating demeanour means I tend not to rely on your apparent 'facts' and many have not been true and those are are often true mainly in hindsight. Two years ago no one could see the future of this. Two years ago we had Hendersons keeping AST financially solvent and we still hadn't got the INA agreement, as that happened in August 2016. So cut out the gloating and maybe give some acceptable reasoning for your predictions and then maybe people will take more notice. Even then they are just predictions.

The company has been in a mess before. It would seem the small BoD, with Colin doing all the work, and just Dawn back at base has resulted in missed deadlines, poor paperwork and, it seems, even the Slovenian government not knowing what is happening. They queried why the gas wasn't being extracted and ARSO had to explain about the application process for the Permits. Maybe the old Chinese adage of cheap but not cheap applies. A bit of expenditure on quality paperwork processing and a BoD fully up to speed on everything, rather than part time non execs, could have avoided the main problems. However they are now up to speed with permits on the way, the Slovenian government aware and the British Chambers of Commerce involved with diplomacy. All looking a lot better. I think Doc Holiday and a few others are a bit bitter and twisted with their losses.

A flurry of buys toward the close with just one being really substantial (£19,729). A good start today but then the inevitable profit taking with de-rampers coming on here looking for a lower buy in price. A bit disappointing considering the very low current MCap and what is happening here.

Some may say 'savvy' traders could have cashed in early and bought back late on. That would have been pure luck to call as the MCap is so low. Unfortunately that is the way of day traders on AIM. This will be opening on Monday from a lower close than Thursday's close. So will have some catching up to do,considering the low MCap and the prospects.

Well that's spiked now so they should be back here again with their profits shortly. This could only be considered a spike above 2p.

CMG:

1. A company like INA doesn't need the IPPC permit.
2. A company like INA may well have better access to well re-opening permits than AST has been able to have.
3. Other companies are available.

Not unusual to see this movement with profit taking after a good rise. Frustrating when the future is so much brighter, but it happens. Should rise above 1.20p again.

Right now it most certainly is justifiable. Considering the recent happenings and the imminent news it's strange you may think otherwise. The market clearly has confidence now.

Correct bradis. The Twitter storm against him at the start of the year was absurd.

Sepu had a t/o price of 20p. It rose to 26p before that was announced. Likely therefore that AST could rise well above the final t/o price. AIM always over corrects.

This has a long way to go for a reasonable MCap. AIM tends to move in fits and starts. I think the late move up today was due to the Colin interview. That move up was right up to the close and therefore it should continue tomorrow and we should see the prediction of many of 1p or more. However the MMs do tend to move the market contrarily to catch stop losses.
