RE: Rns7 Sep 2018 10:42
New_2, Colin has said some stupid stuff on Twitter (bushmills, £1 share, etc.). The 6th August RNS was poor but calling it 'moaning like a girl' is a childish and silly comment. It was also a very recent RNS. All the bad stuff had already happened. The media campaign at the start of 2018 was very bad for the SP.
There are two factors that drive an SP in AIM: confidence and fear. Confidence attracts buyers and fear makes people sell. The social media campaign created fear and therefore people sold and continued to sell even when the SP had fallen considerably. It's cloud cuckoo land to think a media campaign against the company would do anything else.
I like to go on Colin's actions. His actions have been steady and generally dealt with problems in a sensible way. The INA contract after the IPPC was withdrawn in April 2016 is an example. No fuss, he just did it. What he has said on Twitter, however, has not been helpful and he has stopped doing that. The vacuum of information has now started to create the fear aspect again and some are therefore still selling at this low price. We need Geoterm to have their amendments in by today at the latest, as per the RNS of 20th August, for confidence to return. Therefore an RNS today or Monday at the latest is essential.
