I'm not able to go on Tuesday. I would appreciate someone asking them if they, or one of them, could do a podcast covering all the points discussed at the meeting. That way we all get to know what was asked and the answers.

TPT, You post a lot of good stuff on here but you do talk in ambiguous riddles a lot of the time. You come back with riddles as replies followed by multiple question marks and exclamation marks. Just give us the answer if you know it. Or state your opinion unambiguously if it is an opinion.

You go ahead and pick holes in my points reso. I may not be completely correct as I can only go on what I know and there are holes in my knowledge. I don't think AST would have done most of the paperwork with the people they have. And we know the final amendments were coming from Geoterm to tie everything up.

Unbalanced Risenshine? The facts are the facts. My points are just the facts. It's not what I 'want to see', as you put it. I would want to see a CEO and a company that had done everything right along with having good contacts within the Slovenian government who would act to ensure Slovenia has it's own gas supply. Colin has done his best as an accountant. He has been diplomatic to the point of not pushing anywhere near enough. AST went in to Slovenia without those contacts and that was bad business acumen. Geonergo and Geoterm have not had the high level contacts to ensure this all went smoothly. So no rose tinted spec here with me.

Warran****cher, to respond to your points:

1. CH's use of social media has previously been poor with bushmills and £1 predictions. He has since desisted.
2. Missed deadlines? He had timelines he would have hoped for but weren't his to institute. ARSO are responsible for the permits as a department of the Slovenian government. CH can only state what he may expect as a timeline.
3. Paperwork submission has mostly been the responsibility of Geoterm. Other third parties have also been involved. AST have been Colin, as the only exec Director, three other non exec Directors and Dawn, the office clerk. So paperwork from them has been amateurish.
4. Any apparent lack of urgency (and it has been apparent) is down to Colin having to wait himself for ARSO, Geoterm, Geonergo, etc. to act and avoiding annoying the Slovenian authorities by pushing too hard.
5. The SR has drawn out because of waiting for the permits. We're still waiting. See above.
6. Lack of own investment in AST is a concern. When asked he thought £5k was quite a lot. He is an accountant and they are notorious for an attitude of reducing risk.

For those reasons I don't see Colin as fundamentally to blame. I see inertia in the system with Colin maybe doing some things differently, with hindsight. Unfortunately we can all do differently with hindsight.

Wrong target warrant. Like blaming the police for a burglary. Colin is waiting on ARSO to issue the permits. He has to wait with the rest of us. No point in getting all angry and lashing out at Colin or posters on here, calling Colin the 'messiah' and his followers names as well. That's just getting angry at the wrong target. And the correct target (ARSO) is just processing their procedures. Apparently this pen pushing and keyboard thumping takes time.

I've been in AST since just after the Cadogan debacle of 2016. Believe me I'm frustrated, very frustrated. It doesn't help to lash out. Maybe just makes you feel better? But it could make things worse. Those who wrote abusive emails to ARSO could well have made things worse. No, lashing out doesn't help. It is bl**dy frustrating though (I feel a little better now :-) ).

It's dragging a lot now. Many will lose interest in AST if they haven't already. The BoD have a difficult job keeping the interest going and are doing that poorly, as is evident in the SP. Surely they can't just accept the current MCap? No attempt at reassurance to the market though. Reassurance can come in the form of the current timetable of what is happening, their reassurances received from ARSO and the BC of C and future plans.

gell, that statement is wrong in so many ways. No offer was made. So no offer was turned down. The number of shares in circulation at the time was so much less. The current buy out SP would be a lot less as it's the MCap that matters and the SP is only part of that equation.

The gas field wells are old and need a complete workover. That is out of the reach of AST technically and economically. The current production figures for PG10 and PG11a are of course therefore not commercial in the long term. That is all well known. In fact the current figures are actually irrelevant as they are based on the current poor quality of those wells.

That is the reason why we have the strategic review: to get a big player(s?) involved with finance and technical knowledge. The gas is there. It just needs to be accessed efficiently.

If you wish to argue against that Gerry you don't have the facts on what can be achieved. We only have the economic estimates of the value of the known gas in the ground. That gas can only be accessed efficiently with modern technology and methods. That is only achievable with the help of a big player. And that big player should be interested as the gas is there and wells exist which just need reopening and some stimulation. That's far easier to deal with than the cost and technology involved in exploring for gas and drilling new wells to access it in a location where gas is not known to currently exist.

Colin is going to play down any company that is likely to be involved. It needs to be remembered that Colin is up against campaigners who are trying to stop him and Slovenia accessing this gas. He also does not wish the pro Russia lobby to be overly aware of his intentions. He's not going to broadcast his intentions, even if we would like to know. There's too much danger of the wrong people getting to know.

We're seeing the same situation with AST in Slovenia. Slovenia are meant to be part of the EU but they are doing things in their own sweet way and we just have to put up with it. The problem with Britain is we try to follow the rules. Other European countries just follow the rules they want to follow. Just look at the disputes on the French / Italian border, the Hungarian attitude to taking asylum seekers, etc. etc..

That's the fundamental problem with the EU WHYAST. The differences between the economies and cultures of all the EU countries. If it were to work it would be a massive compromise, and it has been. But like communism, where all are equal but some are more equal then others, the differences were going to come home to roost.

Recently had a holiday in southern Italy and was shocked at the problems they are having. My wife's Italian and we spoke to a lot of locals who really dislike the EU bureaucrats. Many in the tourist industry worry about their jobs and many others don't have jobs. Driving around outside the larger towns you see many locked up premises which were factories or offices. It looked desolate.

88E are having a placing at 1p and guess what? The SP has moved down to 1p-. When Sepura was sold at 20p the SP moved rapidly to 20p plus a bit. The market always works like that. The SP here is currently still at 0.90p to 0.95p, so it's BS.

Actually hydraulic stimulation and fracking are about the same thing. Geonergo would be using a much milder form, as they point out in the newspaper article posted on here a few days ago.
