Still all the Body's fault reso? Done all they need for the permits and it's entirely now the jurisdiction of the Slovene government and yet still entirely the Body's fault? You really are a peach.

Having seen it through from April 2016 it doesn't need an expert in Slovene law.

The IPPC was immediately withdrawn in April 2016 purely on the objection submitted by the NGO. So when the NGO's third objection was thrown out court in November 2017 you may expect the IPPC to be immediately reinstated as it was only the objection by the NGO that had it withdrawn. It wasn't. And over 12 months on we still have spurious reasons why it hasn't been reinstated. That's beyond questionable. That's clear corruption behind the scenes.

Now we're out of the SR is there anything to prevent Director buying? The permits situation is known to all or have they information the market isn't aware of? If not then come on Colin, Clive, etc. get buying! It's cheap enough now.

EC, It's becoming clear the Slovenian government has been intentionally delaying this so that it doesn't happen. Initially the delays over many months previously could always be explained by various plausible reasons. It has now become apparent that the plausible deniability aspect has run it's course and any further delay when everything, and more, has been attended to by AST and Geonergo is becoming absurd. Now they are seen to be just excuses.

From now on the government may be embarrassed into issuing the permits by publicity and B.C. of C. discussions or they may stick it out and continue delaying against all reason. Our politicians are doing it with Brexit why not their's as well? If they stick it out and continue to delay indefinitely then AST have no option than to just allow the Petisovci operation to run on current income, use no win no fee lawyers to take legal action and move on to Croatia or some other possibility that Clive Carver may have his fingers in. That's essentially what the RNS said.

If the permits appear now it would be because the government had been embarrassed into stopping their delaying tactics. However they are very persistent with that course of action currently. Colin is playing the cautious game and playing the innocent victim (which he is). With publicity this could eventually embarrass the government into issuing the permits, having had the full application procedure dealt with by ARSO.

If nothing happens 'imminently' then AST should put the operation on hold and move on to another project in Croatia or elsewhere as per the RNS, with the current operation funded by sales to INA. Any legal proceedings could be funded by no win no fee lawyers. The Croatian situation is not likely to happen till mid 2019 so there is a bit of time for the Slovenian government to get their procedures in order. Not to do so would be their loss.

Thanks bradis. The situation is so transparent it seems obvious to me. But not everyone sees things the same way. Some are convinced it is entirely the fault of the BoD. Some are malicious and some just don't realise what is happening with the Slovene government and has been happening for years. We can see that now. Reso apparently predicted all of this this and pokes fun at us for our lack of inside knowledge of government workings in Slovenia. The issuing pf permits has nothing further to do with AST as they have done all, and more, than what is required. It is entirely down to the Slovene government.

Two items need attention from your post reso.

1. You clearly believe the lack of the issue of permits is entirely due to the BoD when they have absolutely no jurisdiction to make that decision. It is entirely the jurisdiction of the Slovene government.

2. If the Slovene government take your view that Ascent Resources is a 'tinpot foreign exploration company' who have invested 50 million euros in Slovenia to produce gas for the benefit of Slovene's then I'm sure Ascent Resources do not wish to avail themselves further of that lack of gratitude or hospitality. It is a truly disgraceful way of treating a foreign company willing to invest such a sum of money in their country.

If your attitude is representative of the Slovene government then it is truly disgraceful. The excuses put forward to delay even further the issuing of permits when Ascent Resources has jumped through all the required hoops over many years is also disgraceful.

Environmental concerns are always a reasonable issue but the way Ascent Resources has been treated even after environmental concerns have been dealt with by Ascent Resources and Geonergo is deceitful and disgraceful. Deceitful in that Ascent Resources has been strung along with spurious reasons for delays over many years. The latest of rude emails is pathetic quite frankly and should in no way delay the issuing of permits in themselves.

Your patronizing attitude and rudeness to posters on this forum has also been persistent and boorish. It would seem your language on here would make you very capable of writing the rude emails yourself when you appear to be aware of exactly the way things will go with Ascent Resources and therefore exactly how the Environment Minister would react to such emails. You have always repeatedly stated how you know exactly how this situation will go. Being right after all this time only shows you know how corrupt the system is in Slovenia.

They've had good experience of doing that over four years. Previously it was all court processes. When finally the court found in favour of AST was the IPPC permit restored? Like heck it was. Another few months of soil sample requirements, base line stuff and on and on it went.

Not declined. Not granted either. Not anything. Just delay after delay. That way the 'not granted' option prevails, without actually stating as such.

Rather than abuse investors reso maybe a little understanding? This is not the fault of the BoD it's entirely the fault of the Slovene government. They are in charge of granting permits. AST have jumped through all the hoops for ARSO and yet the permits have yet to be granted, having previously been granted. So your sarcasm and patronising is not required, thank you.

They effectively stop the permits by causing delaying after delay. That's what they have been doing for years, not just recently, years. It's been happening. That's reality. That's experience.

Damn right it does bradis. I'm furious about the situation with the Slovene government. And when some come on here and blame the BoD for everything when it is clearly the Slovene government at fault I get a little perturbed.

Just another reason for them to delay jamesjohn. Nothing else. This isn't going to be concluded before Christmas or anytime soon. Another reason will be found if not the current one. Move on AST to pastures where the law applies fairly to all.
