The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Makes no sense to me at all. There's a very large background seller keeps pumping out 25000s and yesterday 50000s, fed up with the sight of them. Why are they selling now?
It's the first time I've used the filter button, and it's great, no more magmanus_49, just hundreds and hundreds of green boxes. What a result!
This is an extraordinary result. Looking back over the last few days, there have been millions of shares traded over the last few days, it looks like the buys have been mainly around the 1.7p mark, in which case a mere £42k has been paid for 3.4% of the company. And the subsequent TR1 has excited investors enough for a major FOMO. The blokes a genius!
The reality with Swazers is that his charts do not work. If they did, and he has been using them to great success for all the years that he says he has been successful at, then he would be a multi millionaire by now, even on a £100 investment.
So Swazers, you're always telling us the charts do all the talking, well, you're right, the fact that you're still here doing all the talking, trying to sell yourself and make a few pence by getting more subscribers after years and years of following your own charts says that you and your charts are an abject failure.
I've heard down the grapevine that swazers is starting a new website in opposition to the M...ly Fool, he's calling it the Swazers aFool
GL to the good ship Swazers and all who sail in her
Yes, it's all very easy to sagely say that now, but what if the share price carried on going up and is now 10 or 15p? Those people who held at 2.5p would now feel very pleased with themselves.
The simple fact is that however seasoned you are as an investor, everyone makes decisions based on the facts as they see them at the time, only time will tell if that was a correct decision or not.
fjones40 posted on the telegram group continuously deramping the share, hadn't researched the company at all, and then told everyone in his own words to 'cheer yourselves up" by buying another share that he named and recommended. You're not going to be popular on any share specific chat board if you post comments like that, this one included
V111JAS, Good to hear from you again, and that you're still invested!
Yes, it has been a disappointing period, I thought that's why you'd gone a bit quiet. A general sector drop as well which is a bit sad. But I'm still holding and waiting and still confident of the outcome. I'm hoping that Wood Group will eventually just be one of many. The investor presentation today certainly made good viewing, looks pretty unlikely that further funding is needed. Fingers crossed!
Hopefully if things start to pick up, then we'll see you here a bit more often again?!
It's painfully obvious what swazer is trying to do. He has been ramping Phe for a long time, and despite keep saying that it's going up over the next week, it hasn't. Now the point is that he knows that a lot of like minded people are invested in both, they're both respectable companies, so If he can persuade everyone with Eqt shares to sell (putting the price down) and then buy Phe (putting the price up) , it's going to fulfil his childish charts. What an underhand schmuck.
Wake me up someone, I must be dreaming
Toople PLC (LSE: TOOP), a provider of bespoke telecom services to UK SMEs, is pleased to announce that it has conditionally placed 838,812,272 new ordinary shares in the Company (the "Placing Shares") with institutional and other investors at 0.045p per share (the "Placing Price") to raise £0.38m (before expenses) (the "Placing").
I should think they are more than pleased to announce this, it must be getting nigh on impossible to find anyone to stump up anymore cash
'Woop woop' from Charlie Brown. This is probably one of the saddest comments I've seen on this board. Not only incredibly childish, but also inciteful. I used to enjoy reading comments here, and in fact some of CBs comments could be quite amusing, but as trytrytryagain says we have reached the bottom, I think he probably means the share price but I'm sure he really means the levels that posters on this board have stooped to. All I can say is that thank goodness there is a very stimulating alternative (the Telegram group), and I for one won't bother tuning in to this board until people can behave like responsible adults
