Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Reg, would be good to see you back on the Eqt board hopefully in the not too distant future
There's so much potential here for Eqtec. https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/environment-plastic-oil-recycling/
I see that there's a 5 million trade sold at 1.25 and bought back at 1.26 lunchtime today. My broker did a bed and isa for me yesterday on 250k shares at exactly the same rates. I was thinking about selling them and buying them back myself, but there's no way I'd have got such a small spread. Something to bear in mind if anyone finds themselves in the same position.
Totally agree with these posts about ITM, and to a lesser extent PHE (who are playing catch up with the tech). I seem to remember this is what Aandi was on about months ago and came up with a price of 20 something pence for EQT. I'm just hoping that the ITM mcap is spot on, in which case we should catch up soon!
Funnily enough V111jas, I was just about to post about the final price being set by one share at 16.35. Absurd.
I saw the other day that a SPAC was being set up just for buying 'green' stuff. They will have 175 million going spare......that would buy this co easily the way the market is valuing us at the moment.
Pickuzawinnah...it's nothing too exciting as the price forecast on Stockopedia is an average of the broker forecasts, they don't have their own crystal ball like walletinvestor! I believe the lowest broker forecast is 3.5p, so it's considerably more than the current price of 1.30!!
It's best not to read too much into this atm. From what I can make out there's a 4.5million shortfall for the project which should have been provided/arranged by North Fork CDC? And now they are the ones saying its the others that are to blame even though the money isn't there? Maybe someone on this board knows whether Eqtec have been paid yet for what they have provided so far? There's a lot going on behind the scenes and I'm sure we won't know any more until its been sorted out.
An article on the bbc website this morning about Turkey refusing to take our plastic waste any more....

It is a shambles and it's difficult to believe that a company cannot get hold of their own books and yet can still progress on other fronts, albeit slowly. Is covid a handy excuse? I don't know. The RNS was vague on several fronts.
I also still have this on my watchlist, and it looks an interesting company, but I'd like to give it a bit more time and see how it pans out first.
Slappy...I too am down about 30k, but it hasn't worried me unduly. If you are happy with buying the company at a higher price, and if nothing has changed, then why would you sell at a lower price? Doesn't make sense. So I too have been topping up as and when possible. Again, not trying to influence anyone, it's my choice!!
