Every placement to date has been matched with a greater fall in the sp to below the placement price. They must be running out of ppl to tap up now and any savvy investor will only look at recent history and it will be a no thanks. Still couple of weeks to pull it out the bag but considering how close this jv is meant to be there's no market belief that it will be pulled off. Like somebody already said "read the room"

Don't worry the price of precious metals is going through the roof, no need for a jv the world will be jumping all over Alien given how many zillions of tonnes they are sat on. Just look at how the sp rockets when silver goes up because of EH and the zillions of nuggets hidden away there.

Lol everyone is a PR expert. Let's not forget the RNS contained certain factual information. The word commercial was used and mining licence application has been submitted. The TZ government will now be all over this, the submission was not last minute, there has been months of work ongoing to get this application done. Nobody can say if or when it will be issued but given the huge investment in the Rukwa region by the government, millions spent on Chinese contractors to build new bridges, roads, other infrastructure to improve connections to one of their largest commercial shipping ports, my feeling is that this investment will be paid back from what is in the ground and they will want to start getting it out as quickly as possible. They want this region opened up to the rest of the world and they are prepared to spend big money to do it. Just my thoughts. We shall know soon enough.

The wording commercial was clearly used within the RNS - industry definition of what commercial discovery actually means - "A commercial discovery is one that has demonstrated it contains reserves that will justify the investment of capital and effort to bring the discovery to production" Lorna and co have obviously done their homework on this. Yes it will require investment, how, we don't know yet but if that investment was not recoverable then it simply isn't commercial. If it transpires that for whatever reason the discovery is not commercial then questions will be asked. These individuals know that they cannot mislead investors, the consequences of which can be very severe. I can understand that some may have wanted the miniscule details but for me if they are saying its commercial why should I doubt their integrity. Lorna will be a laughing stock amongst her peers if it turns out to cost 50 million to fill up a balloon which I doubt will be the case. GLA genuine holders.

The majority of people only read what they want to read to suit whatever agenda they have. Some people don't want to dig deeper. The Tanzania government have already invested many millions to build new roads in the Rukwa region that link the area to Kasanga Port. Yes we know the infrastructure needed to be improved but would they really invest so much money in this area if there wasn't going to be pay-back. There's more to their infrastructure investment than simply winning a few local elections, they've spent big money to link the area to the port and they are also spending big money to upgrade the Sumbawanga airport in the Rukwa region. The government are clearly doing their bit to open up the area and I personally don't think its for tourism, could it be that this little part of Africa is laying the foundations for something huge. We shall soon find out.

Rule one, do not get emotionally involved. If people don't believe that this is commercial, simply sell up and move. Get a life, get a job, get a girlfriend or boyfriend, go fishing, getting all angry will make you sick. ML submitted more details to follow. GLA

Not saying a placement is going to happen but let me put the question out there. If they can't get a HNI or institutional investor to buy into a placement and they get desperate by offering a retail placement at a discount, would anybody on here actually buy in. Personally I wouldn't buy in as the sp would drop quicker than Keir Starmer's ratings at a pensioners club, and normally to below the placement price. Know soon enough though.

She's not crazy is she, why spend OTT if there was a placement around the corner, beggars belief that a so called well educated woman would do such a thing IMHO.

Tobethebest, I agree with your sentiment with Lorna going to the summit, she has already built up a reputation in a male dominated industry and she could have a very bright future ahead. Reputation is worth so much and hers is on the line. She's made some hefty statements recently which her peers will be looking to see if she back up with results. The last thing she wants is to look like a wind bag in front of her industry colleagues. Personally I think she will care more about how she is viewed by these colleagues than she does about the stick she gets by some on social media and these chat boards. Lots to play for, for us lot and for Lorna. We'll soon know. GLA
