Developing more wells was more than likely always part of their equation with the estimated amounts of helium in the ground. You wouldn't empty Lake Victoria with one pump and a hosepipe especially if you actually owned the equipment to empty it quicker. HE1 own the drill rig, the other wells are much cheaper to drill. I don't think there is any doubt about the mining licence application being made its been confirmed that it will be submitted. The licence itself isn't a huge cost in the grand scheme but what I'm unsure about is how Tanzania compares with other jurisdictions when it comes to feesabilty studies having all the numbers add up before a licence is granted but we will know soon enough, 17th isn't long to wait.

As for Charles Archer we all know he is paid hopefully not to enable the sp to rise on speculation just so they can do a placement. At the end of the day he's not got tens of thousands of followers and what he's previously pumped hasn't always come good. Tread with caution.

Daven66 nobody wants another placement but it's the nature of the game especially for exploration. I'm in another one that has excellent assets but there's no way they have the money to convert those assets into cash flow, they've diluted like crazy but even in that one there's now light after years of empty promises, if they get the JV everything changes. Here is similar IMHO and I do think they will get the funding without anymore major placements but that's just my opinion, same as some believe there will be a placement it's just an opinion not based on facts or inside info. Hopefully Lorna will soon put meat on the bones and we will be flying. Just a thought.

Hope that is the case Toffers everyone wants to make a profit, that's what it is all about. Anybody could have bought in large volumes this morning and sold in large volumes which is great. Some decided to sell some decided to buy in on the drop. Some think a placement is coming some think a JV, who knows but what we do know is that more will be revealed over the next 13 days. I'm actually enjoying the volatility and all the comments apart from the idiots trying cross ramp other shares because they are drowning in the likes of NCYT.

22/64ths of an inch, been reading up on this and still not much wiser and I'd love to know more but in my simple mind the flow has been choked back, could be for many reasons. The optimist in me says awesome pressure hence the reason for not being fully opened up but I really can't work it out, perhaps if they opened it up they couldn't cope with the flow or wouldn't have enough barrels to fill up. If the choke had been set at 44/64ths would we have been at 1600 bpd? Having a variable choke allows for some control to optimise flow but I'd love to know a bit more about this aspect. I guess we will all know exactly what this means soon enough. GLA

Lorna has had a lot of critics for placements, but this is aim and its the nature of the game, no placements no money and no company. She's also young and is building her own reputation in what is predominantly a blokes world. I'm quite sure she is very careful how she comes over in pr spin and interviews and I'm also quite sure she knows what she does now will effect her future in the industry. She could probably earn more as a geologist that she does as CEO but she's sticking at it in the hope that she will get her big pay day like the rest of us

Some interesting reading on here today, if ppl remember the headline first results of 4.7% helium everyone was like wow and the sp reacted accordingly, next up 7.6% another big wow. I'm keeping it simple but if they had of held back on the fund raise and just released the results there would be much less moaning, it's done now time to move on. Very soon we will know how good or bad this is. Some dates are set in stone like licence application 17th September. More educated ppl than me are talking technical language which is great but again what Lorna mentioned was this was natural flow with no artificial stimulation which is an option if needed, if the helium is there in large quantities they can always stimulate the well to get it out. Ok I'm a simpleton but this all looks positive to me and if they had timed the placement better the sp would be flying already, they had their reasons and hopefully this US deal will generate good income near term to allow for the big money to flow in from Tanzania.
