Looks like the release of that film has been put on hold
The CEO having done the job required, I'll admit, is an inference, but the line in the report does say they have an EPCF agreement for Monch that they aren't commencing due to the sale, and in that regard, the EPC expert has retired, so it's an inference I feel is fair.
As for NDA's, it's an assumption there aren't any, in which case it is suspicious the DFS is no released.
However, we have been told NDA's exist in previous RNS's but not that any have ceased, so I wpuld assume the status quo of there are NDA's to remain.
Wether they cover the DFS for Monch is something none of us know
You know that the no binding agreements likely relate to an offer for the company assests, not NDAs (as we have been told there are NDAs and no binding offers previously, so they aren't mutually exclusive)
There are a few inferences there SpikeyJ, which you are choosing to make. Aa ever, it's unclear.
It doesn't say there is no buyer, and it says they don't know when further announcements might be.
Taken on their own, sure, what you are inferring sounds bad.
But...
If there is nothing likely to happen on that front, why choose not to start mining via the sinosteel arrangement?
If NDAs have expired as no buyer, then why no DFS? You argue because it's bad news but it may well not be.
The guy resigning is apparently as his job is done so again, this could be a good thing.
It could be that the buyer is still around, but won't progress until the war issue resolves. They may require the NDAs still to be there lest they pull interest completely.
Again, all speculation, much like some of your points, and purposefully optimistic as a counter to your view.
Again, the reality will be somewhere in the middle, as judged by the muted market reaction (either way)
I agree, the cash position looks somewhat low, and issuing of shares, whilst not ideal, is standard practice for AIM companies. The better question, imo, is why was this standard resolution not included last year?
The loans to the subs are repayable on demand, so perhaps there is available cash there if required, or of course it could be all spent already. Or they may sell the concentrate.
Ultimately, I expect that many investors are asking these questions, either via email or via calls, or intend to at the AGM.
Another good question, which seems to be forgotton, is why was the report released "late".
Indeed. I have emailed asking about the DFS publication so am awaiting a response.
Sadly, there is little discussion happening as the views are so polarised.
It seems it's either the RNS's mean it's boom or bust, when the reality is likely somewhere in the middle
What's your concern with 6?
I could only see them using this if they needed the money to keep the company going. If they didn't have the option, then the outcome would be worse than dilution no?
Hopefully not required if they can sell the current stockpile and any future mining results.
Confirmation about the sale process of the concentrate stockpile might stoke some interest as it will allay concerns some may have around cashflow.
Publication of the mining plan could be another one too.
DFS feels like the big one though. 🤞
I can only assume Del, that they don't think there will be a delay then?
As they have form for informing us when they expect there to be a delay, one could conclude that they don't think there will be a delay no?
Regardless, it's pointless debating what hasn't been said when there is still plenty of time for an update to drop
I do wonder what some of these posters are like when they order food from the takeaway at 7pm that says it will be delivered by 8pm. Do they just wander around the house saying it's the worst takeaway ever as it hasn't turned up yet until the guy drops it off at 7:55pm?
Indeed Del, an update should come from them, and as far as I'm concerned they have until the end of the day.
Note they have never said "by dd/mm/yyyy" in anything, so these expected deliverables are always likely to slip.
I turned the filter off and, yet again, a lot of abuse with no substance.
I agree, communication is poor, but I personally feel this is mainly due to the war. But I'm not arguing against opinions, just the posters like CALLs there, providing no substance to their statement.
Is that a legal requirement or the companies aim there del?
My main point here is, as always, we have a huge influx of negative posts about an event that hasn't happened yet, but still has time to happen.
If we get an announcement before the end of the day, I doubt any of these posters will retract their statements.
If nothing does come, I'm more than happy to join the crowd wanting an answer as to why.
But until then, it's all just agenda driven posting wanting to say everything is bad, when nothing has materially changed
So your angry something hasn't been submitted yet, yet the deadline for submission hasn't passed? Very odd you consider this incompetence. Seems like you don't understand deadlines.
Come back tomorrow when you may have grounds for complaint
