Haveiron is worth, say, £5 Billion. 25% of that is £1.25 Billion. Newcrest will have spent $65M to get to 70% - if they take decide to take all of it at fair value then they will still have got a long term asset for a significant discount. I'm not saying Hav will be valued at that - it's far too soon to know.Could be more, could be less. But it does give an idea of how Newcrest can pretty much justify any price they ultimately pay - post PFS in my view.
All this talk of interest free loans from Newcrest is just a load of arse really - I know traders get bored and want to generate interest and discussion, but really, do get a grip.
We, a tiddly exploration company, are in a mutually beneficial JV with a major. It just so happens that said JV appears to have hit the motherlode. Happy days.
All we have to do is wait. It really is that simple.
Oh, and while you're reading this, we're still finding more gold.
Plenty more juicy targets too and it isn't going anywhere.
So much to look forward to. Very best of luck all
