Nice to see some constructive advice / comments on here today.
Maybe another angle to consider when pondering the oh so difficult problem of when to sell / top slice. Ask yourself, would you buy at whatever price it is? If you're not a buyer at, say 10p, then maybe consider selling a few. There is nothing worse than seeing a paper profit wiped out due to something coming from left field.
I do take a lot of confidence here from the fact that we've held up remarkably well in the current climate.
As we're all in lockdown at the moment, I've also taken the opportunity to re-read Newcrest reports and presentations. It's very easy to get carried along with hype / positivity; whatever you want to call it. I find it useful to have a mental 'declutter' once in a while to remind myself why I'm invested here and what the future may hold.
Still very confident but Newcrest have an awful lot of work to do yet. End of April, I believe, will be the most important update yet. I'm hoping that we get some idea of the extent of the resource in addition to further outstanding results.
Paddysat is excellent (cheers PG) as it clearly demonstrates that Newcrest are not simply infilling the 450x150x600, but are exploring outwards.
