The PSA indeed is a relatively simple blood test but often done in batches,to reduce the cost on the controls.The test also is affected by all sort of factors such as sexual activities,urinary and other infections etc..A bi weekly test for the patients on our Trial would be ideal but a monthly test is more likely because of costs.Also if it is progressively lower on three separate occasions it would be sufficient to label its status as a good response from starting the increased dose of 8mg/day.There maybe some data from earlier toxicity study on lower doses,which may decided for VAL how often to perform this particular test.Stach

The shortest time for each patient to obtain meaningful results is three months.All lab results have to be underpinned by eventual X-Ray scans(be it MRI,CT or PET).Only such tests can show the reduction in size of the tumour.You can not scan to often because of the radiation problem.Lab results on a weekly or bi-weekly basis can be done very quickly but even they may be dependant how the patient feels Clinically.All tests are expensive and are paid by us-the shareholders.Therefore frequent testing is not always way forward in a phase2 study where by that time the side effects have already been ascertained earlier in phase-1.How long the individual patient has to take 8mg/day dose is entirely up to the treating Clinician.By June we should have at least half a dozen patients fully assessed.I hope this helps you.Regards - Stach

Good morning John and All Other good people here.I notice your post and very much agree with you.VAL has is in the best position in its history and I am convinced that we shall get an update on VAL-201 in June.It will be half way through this years increased dose Clinical Trial and I am sure that everybody (especially possible Partners) are waiting for the report from The Clinicians about the outcomes for their patients.At last we should learn about the numbers involved and the tests' results.So there will be "meat on the bone" at last.The share price at the moment is far,far to low and will be corrected with right results.As far as I know,there are quite few people in The City keeping this share and some are market makers.From my point of view it is a bit of a repeat situation from few years ago now,that when I suggested that at 2.6p/share was a good opportunity to add ,the share did jump up just on very good lab results at the time.Similar frustrations and criticisms prevailed at the time too.I wish you All Good Luck in June.Stach

There will be substantial re-rating after the NASDAQ entry.In not to distant past the share price was £1.60p+,so you can imagine where it is going eventually. Twenty (out of 45 permitted) wells in Trinidad could add 1000 boo to the total daily extraction.I do not know how much the electric pumps cost but certainly it would be not a problem for Mr Koot. The labour is also cheap in Trinidad as many oil workers were laid off last year.Within just a few months we could be producing 3x what we are getting now.LK has also stated in one of his Media interviews that he is not worried about oil price as per barrel it costs less than $10 to extract it in Trinidad.I think he said $8.His prediction on WTI prices that these will continue to be between $45 - $55(USD) for some time and that he is very comfortable with that.All he says is very reassuring to me.Stach

I have that feeling that after the name change from LGO to Columbus there will be a substantial purchase of this share by LK and some of BoDs' members.The confidence that he speaks about the development of Columbus and various options of financing is staggering.We have never seen here anything like that under Ritson as he always was shaky when asked how the development was going to be financed.It almost looks as though LK has his own Bank! At last my another 150k of shares gone through.It took me whole morning today to obtain 0.5mln shares. The share price has not budged at all yet one could not buy ! That's market makers at their usual "best" for you. Stach

If it was only about name changing it could be done by just RNS as many Companies are doing that way.The purpose of a Meeting is a hope that it will be attended by some Fund Managers and bigger Oil Firms in a hope that they can invest into plans that Columbus will present.This is my view on the matter.Stach
