It is very rare to have "partners"(you use plural) to support ANY drug in clinical trial. You make an agreement with one of your choice and that Pharma then finances the whole cabal associated with the trial. You can imaging the mess that you would have at the end of the unsuccessful period or suspension of the trial because of serious harm to the patients. The Health Trusts in this Country and in most of Europe would not agree to the multiple "ownership" of the Trials. It is also more difficult to agree on the Protocol for the Investigation and subsequent supervision, contacts with the treating doctors, patients and families of the patients.Data collection(and sometimes manipulation) is another story! Finally, compensation(if needed) can also be a problem(who is responsible for what? ).VAL,I am sure will have just one partner with enough money to finance the lot.By now they should know, who it is if they are projecting dosing first patient with VAL-401 in 2019.Stach
