Just bought 10k of shares here for the first time.I have been watching the progress of this Company for some time and of late it is really impressive.What sway me to buy it it was a very small number of shares in issue and great recent drilling results reflected in an excellent bopd figures with more to come shortly.I also see some very knowledgable posters here and it is a pleasure to read them.My main investment is in CERP but I shall buy more here if the progress is continuing to be as good as in recent months.Stach

I see that many of you are only thinking of salaries for the BOD.Please remember that the VAL-201 CT is still ongoing (till the end of this year) and has to be financed entirely by us the shareholders.It is not cheap.Because of the formidable expenditure that is required to run such trials,when they succeed,the rewards are also huge to the Company and the shareholders.I know this very well but concur with some of you being here long time that the BOD did not realized this in the early stages when the share price was at 73p/share.They have made the same mistake again and again.Recent one when the share price was at 7p/share.This does infuriate me just as much as most of you too.Lets hope that BOD will have some very good news for us eventually.In the meantime they should sack ALL their financial advisers.Stach

To me ,the most significant part of today's RNS is the statement that New Zealand has accepted Patent for VAL-401 for use in pancreatic cancer.This disease has the highest mortality and is very resistant to any therapy.With VAL-401 such patients will derive great benefits with regard to quality of their remaining lifes.As it stands with regards to research thus far, it is also possible that in addition, their lives could be extended too.So there is some good in this RNS,a positive development.GLA - Stach

There are some very sensible posts this morning.It is the wrong time to rattle the cage in changing Directors.What all VAL needs to do is to issue an update regarding VAL-201 where it should tell the shareholders how many patients are currently on The CT and how they are doing.It does not matter that there still may be just a few of them(as the recruitment can be slow) but lets hear some substance in the news.The Press and other media often report such facts derived from rns of other small companies.We have not have had anything like that since last report on VAL-401.There were also small numbers of patients but the news was warmly received and the share price also responded in a positive way.This is the way to go forward for The Company.Stach

I think your talk here is going to be blown into the oblivion if there is UK Government's Guarantee to the Finance Providers.You are pi ....ing into the wind here.The decision weather to offer or not the Guarantee will be based on already gathered data,Feasibility Studies and Market demand for the next 25 years plus.All these factors are already well considered and being discussed by the responsible Ministers and involved,LOCAL MPs.This is a massive Project not only for Yorkshire but for the whole of UK.The work is so advanced now that no right thinking Gov is going to withdraw its support.Stach

The PSA indeed is a relatively simple blood test but often done in batches,to reduce the cost on the controls.The test also is affected by all sort of factors such as sexual activities,urinary and other infections etc..A bi weekly test for the patients on our Trial would be ideal but a monthly test is more likely because of costs.Also if it is progressively lower on three separate occasions it would be sufficient to label its status as a good response from starting the increased dose of 8mg/day.There maybe some data from earlier toxicity study on lower doses,which may decided for VAL how often to perform this particular test.Stach
