Zag, we have already gone through the maths with you. It's one well. Petroquest don't seem to be funding only getting 49% of profit, while owning 51%. Ppp have all the operational risk. Difficult to say really as the old GV deal might not have been real anyway but I'm not impressed by this new deal. It's a sweetener to stop the 51% to petroquest tasting so bitter.

The court case has been going on since mid Jan... Not sure why it's a surprise to you all. I heard about it on here.

It was in the RNS r from 11th Feb and ppp have given no further update yet. 8 weeks is not long in these types of things. Can go on for months/years.

Letter from FCA

As confirmed on the shareholder call on 10th February, the Company has received a further communication, request for information, from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requesting further information relating to the actions of the Company, predominantly dealing with questions from before the current Chairman, CEO and non-executive director of Compliance were in place. Whilst the full contents of the letter are confidential and not appropriate for sharing, I do think the excerpt below should give shareholders comfort. The FCA under this management team can count on full compliance of the Company with the FCA's preliminaty enquiry:

"Please note that this is a voluntary request, and the Company is not under formal investigation by the FCA in relation to the matters set out in this letter. Rather, we are performing a preliminary enquiry to establish whether there is a basis for the FCA to investigate. Once our preliminary enquiry closes or we decide to formally investigate, we will notify the Company."

I'm sorey, didn't we already know about the court case and FCA investigation. Ppp have not given any indication that these will delay a return to trading?? Seems dishonest if that's the case now.

Yes the fact he bought the shares in Nov 2023....really does look bad as to why they didn't sort this out before having the vote as JW held so many shares and could have changed the outcome of he had voted against.

Tbf, you someone has said this before, that these placing shares belonged to JW. But I can't remember who.
