Spent time looking and comparing accounts from 2010 with 2019. Over the 9 years of operation enquest has earnt -7m usd - this i get by comparing retained earnings dec 2009 of 77m with retained earnings in 2019 of 70m. What a joke! Assets and liabilities have increased by equal amounts and equity has increased by the dditional amount shareholders have pumped in. Where has all the money gone? To Bond holders and the banks. Not a cent to the shareholders

Indeed even if brent was to jump to 70 given all the recs from barclays and rbc it would matter little to enquest sp. At best we could hit 23p. The sp is being Held at these levels to suit an agenda. Maybe that agenda is that someone wants to buy loads more shares for 19p to reduce their average?

Fire under control so brent will be stable next week no worries. Trump will tweet that he will meet with Iran to help them be better with firing rockets and cite his success with North Korea so as to push brent closer to 50 and then wednesday will show a 10m build in supplies. Sorted!

Amused myself this morning looking through the archives as i had in the back of my head that enquest had paid dividends in the past and that might be a good indicator that they might pay in the future. Alas this has never been the case.... Even back in 2012 before the borrowing frenzy no dividends were paid. Sigh

Its like 2007 with sub Prime. Doesnt matter what happens oil is staying steady, the IEA report indicates oil surplus and enquest doesnt move despite good fcf.

Yeah it is good with a steady hand and no returns to shareholders. Bond holders and shorters have Done very well out of enquest and we shareholders have got fa and not even above rights issue pricing because we have a modest CEO. Great! Cairn up 12% and we go up slightly
