Do also agree on your assessment of financial realities. My cut is average production of 69k over the year and realised price of 63 or thereabouts depending on the rest of the year. Debt repaid in 5 years but on a stable footing by the end of next year with net debt below 1.2 bn.

Now to my question - what do you see?

I could be wrong but looking at how the markets have stabilised apart from oil this looks again like another move by Trump to crush the oil price. Indeed saudi is out again looking for says to prop up the price of oil.

Enquest has been up and down more often than a prostituera pantihose! This share is the worst investment all time in any category. Hopefully something positive will come of this but at the moment it is difficult to see any silver lining. Krak - there was nothing in my comments blaming enquest but yes spin and krak there are a lot of dogs around. Given 5 years of miserable experience i wouldnt count on that. The markets view of oil and oil shares is very dim. Let alone price of oil. Crushed from all angles.

Hi HMH - i got 1450 with ave prod of 70kand average poo of 64. I will need to investigate where we differ. I had also net debt of sub 1 bn in 2020 with a little higher production and same price. Regardless i think it should be achievable

Hi hitman - Concur with tour thoughts. A valuation of 5 to 6 Times eps would be more in line with our peers so do agree. 40p would be most welcome.

Pelle - not necessarily. I just want a financial buffer. This is not my disagreement with AB and to be fair he has not specifically stated when dividends are to be paid - this is your interpretation. I have nothing against dividends but lets get onto some solid ground. We have had two cash calls during the past three years and the sp is almost where those two cash calls have been. I think if we are operating at 1.5 x debt next year the market will reward us regardless of whether we pay dividends or not but having money in the bank is gold

Hitman - i think that has been around since mid June. Only they can answer why they are bothering to do estimates for 2023!

I would agree on that leverage estimate pelle. Where we disagree then is the merits of paying a dividend or not and that is fine. Personally i think the share would be valued the same whether they were to pay the dividend or not but i would prefer to see the company on a more sound financial footing. Good discussion
