Enquest is being impacted by a generally negative view of oil stocks. Regardless if the company does what it says it would do and the seapulse prtneship delivers we might get a rerate.

Not good. Are you factoring in 2 weeks downtime then chilts? It would make sense to do the maintenance now. Reliability issues are the last thing we needed!

This sp is being manipulated to suit one persons interests - to accumulate a larger holding. We can theorise all we want but nothing will happen until AB is good and ready

Hi pelle. I agree - net debt end h1 1650. Year end i am going for below 1500 as AB has promised a ratio of ebitda to debt below 2 if poo holds

Easing back to the starting blocks where we ended last week. Nice and easy. Hopefully AB has put a stop under shorters pushing the price below 19p but it would have been nice if he had done it at 21p where he got our money last time.

Enquest showing trememndous strength in the face of declining poo. When poo was at these levels as long ago as friday 28th June 2019 Enquest was cellar dwelling around 19.3 p and now it is powering along at 19.8p. We are performing less well as compared with Cairn but this is big news!

Naturally my opinion and yes i noticed that AB got backing of 90% and Laurie fitch 60% but really there is no majority owner that is not a fund apart from AB and he would vote for himself and the funds probably send a grad straight out of School. If you got an activist in there with a majority post i think you would see a different result.

Really quite pathetic. Faith in the management and their ability is really low. Not even that information from cairn that was really positive can lift this shite. It really is time for AB to step aside and bring in someone with street cred. It is too late to do anything but he can absolutely keep on with his share buybacks. We will finish up below 20p again

Well i think we will all be dead before anyone comes. I have been perplexed by the large volume of selling of enquest shares and AB buying vigorously over the last few months. Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction. I have 2 theories to this strange cooncidence. Either AB has instructed short selling to keep the price down so he can buy cheap or some hedge fund is applying pressure to the sp and AB is buying to shore up his position ahead of a takeover attempt - this is not far fetched i believe
