BBC News - Mali: West condemns Russian mercenaries 'deployment'

Hi AJ, that's a good point and I totally agree. Would be good for him to state that he won't be diluting the shares. The 1.5 million in the bank means from a cashflow point of view a placing is not needed. Wonder if his comments tomorrow will make or break our week.
One reason market cap is low because of the security situation. A mine in Oz is not the same for many reasons and security is just one of them.
At this stage, positive developments outweigh problems so we are good. We should be well rewarded for taking a risk at this stage as some have been already. Time will tell though.
Still drinking beer.
Seemed to indicate/confirm there is firm interest in Kodal and the ball is in our court. IMO he is the real deal and 1.5 million in the bank with a cash burn of about 400k on general expenses is pretty good. Enough money for next 6 to 9 months including drilling/exploration. He noted that we are in South Mali in his interview I think. As someone else said this is South of the capital and further away from the security issues
Should really do a DD fact sheet for reddit as new investors are possibly confused, especially given the mad price swings.
Back to my beer... have a good day everyone
I can't find the decision on share buyback.
Did they say they have the option to repurchase X amount of shares or we are authorized to spend up to X amount on share repurchases? Seems a bit random to buy 45k or so worth of stock. Is it a one off, an ongoing program etc.

It's not in the Director's interest to dilute. A placing to give enough capital to mine is not really feasible. I think it would mean issuing 30 billion + new shares to raise the 120million needed to begin mining. Imagine that RNS.
Doubled my position on licence news and am now at .40 average. Didn't expect the drop. My only worry is, have I missed something but can't find what if anything yet. Instability in Mali is the only thing I can see but that's not new.
Totally agree with Laverda and others on the idea that we should not dilute further. All IMO and I have been massively wrong on a few other things recently. Seems investing in businesses with income and profits is not the way forward. For now at least.
