Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It's going to be an interesting meeting.
The board stated the workover was to commence with an estimate of 60 days. It hasn't happened. Something delayed it and they didn't report it. Pull me up if I am wrong.
Money in the bank down by 4 million.
What are they doing?
Thanks O2.
Here is my bet on news today:
1) JA is stepping down
2) Partially successful in Tunisia, still monitoring flow rates or some such guff
3) Planning on this, planning on that but can't confirm when, who or how.
4) In talks for a buyout.
All speculation and if you go by my usual success rate, I will get all wrong.
Anyone else got any thoughts...
Let's see what Monday brings but I think there will be 2 RNS on Monday morning. One with news on the workovers. And the other with results. They have form for bad news released with the results.
If they fail to answer issues or refuse to accept any responsibility or make changes, I will also support a shareholder group to have them removed/replaced.
You can't have the shareprice down this much and pretend all is well.
Will call investor relations. Anyone got facts like in Antha's message to save me the research.
Who bought a % a while ago. I can't find the RNS. I will dig but great if anyone can help.
Reg... are you not annoyed at this?
Biker... you have been in this s show as long as anyone. Any thoughts?
I honestly believe they don't see the pumps producing more as market sensitive information which is crazy.
650,000 pounds a year for? On the next call, I would like to know how many times he has been to Tunisia and Romania over the last 12 months.
The board pat themselves on the back for restructuring the business but that's why I invested because it had been restructured. They need to deliver the production increases they talked about or move on and let someone else have a go.
The CEO is the public face of the company and he has been absent. He missed a shareholder meeting because of a sore knee! True he isn't expected to run PR. You employ people, and in the age of twitter and other social media this is not a major cost.
Agree best PR will be making the company work but only if they tell people.
There is an argument to be had that 3 dusters on the bounce is very much the company's fault but I take your point.
News must be imminent and I assume success is deemed worth an RNS.
Despite money in the bank, pretty much every shareholder is underwater to some degree. Simply not good enough. The mini revolt at the last AGM will be a big one if the board continue to underperform.
Rant over...good luck everyone
The board said in one of the meetings, they communicate what they legally have to. As we know they are not proactive in any communication with shareholders. Over the last 18 months this has been a very poor investment and imo a badly managed company.
I think someone referred to upward selling pressure a while ago. I think this is the case with a lot of investors cashing in profits after doubling their money. I expect it to at least hit the placing price in the next few weeks. A consolidation could be next too.
Can someone remind me who took a stake a while ago. I can't find the RNS either.
I have several hundred thoysand shares held for quite a long time and currently 60% plus down. Therefore hope Reg is right but I am not confident they will achieve enough to move the price back to 30p. 3p in old money.
Can't imagine the new shareholder (Arden? Memory failing me) will accept another delay or failure. I am firmly in the camp of shakeup of management needed. They are operating PR like it's 1985. Total disgrace of a board.
Would love to be proved wrong but the last 2 years have been terrible and only through luck of commodity price has this company not struggled.
