Oil & Gas Infrastructure Sector1 Feb 2022 15:35
The most important thing to focus on is that most of major oilers were totally frozen for almost 2 years during Covid. As a result, the lack of oil pushed the prices to unsustainable levels. So my take is that infrastructure providers such as PFC will be very busy in the next few years. Naive governments took decisions to slow carbon emissions by introducing tough legislation and rely only upon "green/renewable energies". Today we see the result: Inflation everywhere, from the pump to the supermarket. All this is happening while China, the US, India and Russia are polluting the atmosphere like hell. Without the participation of these 4 big countries, the European actions on pollution are just like a drop in the ocean. The only result we are now getting is that the populations of Europe are facing the music by suffering a drop in their income via a galloping uncontrolable inflation - which is bluntly put: Hello poverty !
