Regarding the conflict with Russia, IMO China will try to help broker a solution because if oil price goes to $200+ the world economy would suffer and China will have to deal with its own internal demons and hundreds of millions of unemployed Chinese. So the longer the conflict drags on, the harsher the world economy will be the hit. Not surprised to see things improving in the next few weeks.

What can one do against a dictator ? No dictator gave up power until his death. We saw Saddam, Gaddafi, Hitler etc. And now we have plenty of new ones: the most dangerous are the one in North Korea and the other in Russia. Both with real weapons of mass destruction. What can the west or uncle Joe do against Putin if they cannot even touch a single hair of rocket man in North Korea ? Even Trump couldn't do anything against him. So how many solutions are left if everybody rejects a peaceful solution ? Let the Ukrainian people continue their march into the slaughter house and destruction ? I think those who had put them into the actual horrible situation without negotiating anything are the real culprits. It is time they rescue what they can before it is too late for the people of Ukraine and Ukraine itself. I cannot see any other way unless they just decide to openly fight against Russia with or without nuclear weapons.

Let's be realistic: We are where we are thanks to a failed US/Western and Russian plans. In times of war and uncertainty, they are better than holding gold or cash. The Mcap does not ply any role when there is a war or a crisis. There is no logic in market cap, EPS or growth. There is only one aim: Flight for safety. Does owning 10 Phillipe Patek and 10 Rolex better than keeping their equivalent in money or gold ? That is the question. To me it is clear.
