The M&P offer attaches a certain value to WEN's gas reserves, WEN gives you the figure in today's RNS. You can attempt a rough read-across to the value of AEX's reserves. It's significantly more than the current SP and that's prior to the 3D results.
Aimster - the minister has gone on record to say that they don't want anyone dicking them around and causing delays. There's an election in 2025 and these people want to be re-elected. I think we'll see a bit more urgency all around.
It makes more sense for TPDC to do this, otherwise AEX will get into no end of wrangling with the locals over permits etc. All the calculations about potential payback for AEX are based on pretty low numbers and they'll definitely get more than those anyway due to index linking.
Thanks komakino.
This: "For the beneficiaries, they are asked to provide themselves with an Act of heredity, an Act of guardianship (if applicable) and a Minutes of Family Council which indicates the name of the person who will receive the check in the name of the family of the deceased.."
Seems sensible, I'm sure everyone here has been approached so that they can pretend to be related to the deceased.
Some nice infographics being shared on the telegram group.
Someone's pulled together material from AEX presentations and other info (about volumes of gas over the border) to argue that the seismic could yield a significant upgrade to the gas resource.
CP, anyone who is now buying at 0.92 is doing so that for them to make a profit, someone else will likely need to buy at over a penny. I'd expect that to happen sometime this week, on the expectation that there'll be some news the following week.
Whether we hold 1p or better, I think depends on the level of detail AEX provide about their findings and drilling plans.
If it's quite bland, i think people will be tempted to take their chances with drills in the interim e.g. EOG before coming back in several weeks' time. Giving the timing of the last fund raising, I don't think it will be bland - sticking my neck out.
The EPS was supposed to be a means of generating early cashflow. They seemed to have dropped it without giving much of an explanation. Instead, they have had a placing when it did not seem to be essential.
The two decisions suggest to me that (a) they are confident of success (b) they are so confident that they want to let their mates in on the cheap. IMHO/DYOR etc.
Aimster the PIs who have been buying at current levels would be mad not to take money off the table in any move upwards.
On the other hand, once the full field development plan has been published, it's likely that investors with even deeper pockets could consider AEX as being investable. The upside may be less at that point, but a positive outcome would be more certain.
The origial plan was to drill the C1 well and then follow that up with a further 5 wells.
When they announce the results of C1 could any upside depend on whatever they say their plans/hopes/timings are for the subsequent wells?
