RE: Opportunity1 Nov 2025 13:58
I don't know why anyone could be remotely concerned, because according to the resident 'expert' (ahem!), when in full ramp mode, as the price was ascending in September, the deal is already done and it could be as high as $43 Billion !

Clearly a buyout is not at all an option as indicated clearly by Tim. Having reviewed some of the deals over the last few years, you would hope that he reconsiders and tries to close a buyout deal. If not then it is critical that he secures a deal that is weighted to upfront cash and less so on milestones and royalties. Whilst the latter may be lucrative over a 5 year period, subject to 100% success, it also has high risk and we are far better with a front loaded deal. He has talked about bog deals with $50-150m up front. Hoping he can even surpass that and we can see a share price in the 30-50p range.
Or we can dare to dream….
Pfizer completed the acquisition of Seagen in December 2023 for approximately $43 billion. The acquisition was a significant move to bolster Pfizer's oncology business by integrating Seagen's antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) technology, a powerful method for delivering cancer-killing agents directly to tumors

Deal timing 14 Sep 2025 19:29
Why did Tim explicitly say, twice, that a deal can happen any time between ‘now’ and end of the year? To express now has to mean that something could be imminent, as in this coming week.
