Shares in WeShop Holdings, the principal portfolio company of AQSE-listed investment company, WeCap (WCAP PZ) rose sharply on Nasdaq yesterday, closing the day at $200 per share, valuing the company’s Class A Equity at $2.2 billion. WeCap’s overall investment in WeShop equates to 11.8% of the outstanding Class A WeShop shares (WeCap owns 806,022 Class A shares directly and 2,083,333 shares indirectly through its 23.5% holding in CSIL; total Class A shares outstanding at WeShop as of today are 10,937,064). Using yesterday’s closing price, this equates to a see-through equity valuation for WeCap of £189.8 million, or 42.91 pence per share (note here, we are adjusting the value for the £6.965 million Discounted Capital Bond repayable in May 2026).

Surprised they don't make more of their announcements. Just some basic detail that could be provided.

For example, that small plant now operating, can produce five barrels of oil from a tonne of plastic in an eco-friendly way, and has the capacity to produce 5.4 Million Litres, roughly 34,000 barrels of oil per annum.

On top of that, they can charge premiums for it, they already have a sales contract to supply Vietnam at a price of $ 2 per litre, so that would generate $ 10.8 Million from that first small plant alone.

They mention roughly 200 Million tonnes (half of 400 Million tonnes mentioned) of 'single use' plastic waste globally in the RNS but failed to mention that using their tech, roughly 1 Billion barrels of oil could be produced from the single use plastic waste annually, or roughly 275, 000 Bopd.

Think they need some help writing their RNS's.

Adobe's profit for 2024 was over $ 19 Billion.

He'd already know whether BIRD would fit into an acquisition interest category for Adobe.

In any commercial role, regardless of how competent you are, you make mistakes and learn from them.

Despite that, this guy made an enormous success within a large corporate organisation.

Having already succeeded with Adobe, it'll now just be like shelling peas. He'll know and advise exactly what to do, and just as importantly, what not to do.

He'll also have the right contacts within the sector.

Couldn't get a better 'phone a friend' though. Superb tie up.

How many other people have that experience and knowledge ? Worth a fortune.
