BoZo is the weakest PM the UK has had in many years and I dread the coming months for the UK with this fool in charge what with the virus mess and the outcome of Brexit for this country to come? I'm not a remainer or leaver either, I'm a "No idea what Brexit will actualy do to this Country-er" I'm sick of Tory voters either wearing blinkers and allowing their party to get away scott free or by totaly ignorant in what is actualy going on! Imo the price has to go higher tomorrow, if CDR wanted a stake worth "Tens of millions" Then having to buy them now would automatically mean the sp would rise over the period of time of aquiring, the question is just how much do Sig value themselves for such a stake in their company considering they know the virus as helped cause the sp to drop so much, not the business fundamentals? Interesting morning ahead! Stupid typos!

Spoke to my friend who works for Sig again earlier to ask if he knew anything regarding the delay, he didn't but said he had spoke to his manager lately about the company as a whole, his manager said that the price Sig charges are and have gone up due to demand and that things are nowhere near as bad as was first feared, so I asked my friend how busy it is and he said "Put it this way we have already been asked to do overtime" He said they are non stop but did say some was due to backlog of old orders but hes never known it be so busy! He did say what I've been saying, if there is a 2nd wave and its bad then hes worried about the country as a whole. We then rambled on about BoZo and the situation regarding Cummings but I wont go there.

I know this doesn't help regarding todays RNS but just thought I'd give ya a heads up on what he said.

My friend works in the one of the warehouses and says its been non stop with orders, alot of back orders and plenty of new! It seems like the building trade hasn't been as hard hit "Yet" So hopefully if we can get over this nightmare then Sig will do well long term.

These 2 figures are more than likely what the share price will hit, if it doesnt hit 7/8p it will almost certainly hit 69 after the consolidation. Why do I say this? Simply because (I say simply as its a simplistic way of looking at it) Most shares that do rights issues always seem to revert back to the RI price and with the situation unfolding right between our eyes regarding Covid19 and what damage its going to do to the economy all around then 69p will almost certainly be hit and probably/sadly lower!

I am not deramping blah, blah, blah I'm just looking at it from an openminded pov, some people think we are going to get back to normal in the next few months which is crazy to me as if true it means just about every single economist is wrong! If they are even remotely correct then we are heading for a major downturn this year alone, things will not bounce back until the virus is either gone or a vaccine that works and is safe is out there neither look promising anytime soon!

Look I dont hold so some will say I'm scaremongering etc but I'm honestly not I just dont want people getting into something that could easily lose them loads of money in teh coming months, if you buy or hold then hopefully my post is just aload of rubbish in the coming months but please look at the wider picture and not just what this company has going for it.

It was 21p when announced so is it not based on that figure and with the consolidation and RI = 7p per share? 67.8% discount was mentioned in RNS so 7p is roughly where its heading then up to 70 after consolidation after that it will probably drift lower again until they announce dates for shows.

I wonder if they will announce a 10 for 1 consolidation on Wednesday? This share is flatlining, its a scarey looking chart and just keeps going one way! I've read posts from consolidations to being a TO target to being taken private! I cannot see how Wednesdays update can be in anyway positive but for all holders? I hope I'm wrong!

No to both account imo, do you realy think most other sectors including construction will be 100% fine? You come across as a bit knowledgeable but then screw that up with comments like that!

If you think all the money being pumped into the system isn't going to cause issues then you have no clue about how the economy works, also can you please explain how "Most of these companies" You say will be 100% fine wont be affected by the massive unemployment we are going to have? Does high unemployment not affect these sectors?

I'd rather believe the many economists who are saying the world is heading for a major downturn than any poster on LSE!

BTW I do hold Sig and do think that some sectors will be ok-ish but theres going to be alot of pain in the coming many months before anything else.

As for the treatment comment, while I'd agree some drugs may help to a point then ok fair enough but as for a safe vaccine then no to that for many months! Any vaccine that comes out in the next few months will be a major health risk. Yes I know you didn't mention vaccine in your post but I'd assume you were aiming it that way? If not then apologies.

Looking into the future and whats to come should tell you that this could hit £2.50 and lower, if you think everythings going to be all rosey from here in you are wrong imo, companies are already starting to announce cuts to employees and this is only going to cause a snowball effect in the coming months, I've said it before and I will say it again, once the furlough scheme is ended the unemployment rate will rocket due to companies realising even more the impact this has caused on that business, the vast majority are still being comforted by the governments bailout packages, once that ends the issues will come out ten fold!

However I could be entirely wrong as I am not in any major position to see whats to come so I base my views on what I can personaly understand and see happening due to past history and what I read everyday in the business news and thats negative all over the place for the coming months.

G-Man many people are going to have lost and will loose their jobs, so many companies will have to cut back due to the downturn, I agree that in time things will pick back up but I honestly cannot see how that will happen in the next few months? There is just so much bad news going to come out because of this, there is only so much money any government can pump into a system before major issues arise from it, what anoys me the most is why wasn't this money available when austerity was thrust upon us? People have literaly died because of that policy (I dont want to get into politics) My point being that will austerity have to come into play again or will BoZo do a Trump and pump, pump, pump? Either way we are going to have issues down the line and things will probably get cancelled and put on hold for a year or so which is only going to cause more pain.

Be honest, take your bias towards any shares any of you are in out of this and ask if you seriously believe that we will go back to normal in 6 months or less after the carnage that the previous months will have caused? Remember 2008 which wasnt a patch on this and ask why would we do better so quick this time?

My post was more aimed at the markets as a whole not Sig, I just think we may have alot more issues arsing from this mess in the coming months, year or so before things start to get better? When the 2008 so called crash happened austerity was thrust upon the UK and look what that caused, I know some are blinkered to how much damage it caused and how much inequality came about but if that was to help balance the books due to that then what the hell is going to happen this time? So much money plucked out of thin air and pumped into a system that could be on a massive downturn does not bode well! I just want to add that these are just my thoughts, I hope I am wrong and the UK along with other countries pulls back and people dont suffer as much as why wouldn't a sane person want this, I just mayeb fear the worse for the coming months or so!

You answered your own question with the answers, demand and funding! Demand will be far less and funding also, cuts everywhere is what we are seeing and will continue to see imo.

Those cuts happened when things were going well, these are totaly different times!
