Just because RR. isn't an AIM stock does not make it immune to the situation going on. I wont say if I think its going to go below £2 or not as I'm no oracle, it could climb to over £4 for all I know. I also wont say that there will be another crash soon as I just dont know but do I personaly think there will? Yes 100% I think theres a major downturn due soon to all the issues that are now slowly coming to the forefront and when you look at what many finance people are saying regarding cycles then we are heading for a recession and possible a depression bordering on the great one back in 1929, is this possible YES 100%

I think that people are so spoiled nowadays they think they are also immune to what can happen, its like those who say there will never be a WW3, there 100% be one, maybe not in our lifetimes but there will as humans love to find ways to take over, take power and kill to get what they want, history shows us all this we wont change that. Unless we are hit by some major natural disaster that wipes us all out! (Wow am I a happy chappy) :)

Think of it this way, do you think investors back in 1929, 2000, 2008 among other major falls thought we would have those crashes? Some did, they were saying so but people laughed at them, we are in exactly the same boat now but this time its far worse, people get blind to whats out there due to greed and its very dangerous and leads to people losing money, its happened time and time again and yet some just wont accept what staring right at them.

Again I am not saying we are 100% going to have a another major crash, great depression etc but I'm not stupid enough to think its not a possibility no matter what anyone on these boards wants to think. We could see sp's rise from tomorrow onwards and never loks back for another 10 years or so, nothing would surprise me!

RR. is a top class company and I'm almost certain it will do well as per usual in years to come but dont think its shares wont collapse if we have the worse case scenario from all this come true because it will and that is a fact.

TMT I honestly dont want to fight, I actually want small investors including others with different political beliefs to do well buying and selling shares because the big boys do it in scrupulous ways but we have to do it the hard way. I wont lie and I'm sure most have noticed that I have major issues with our so called government which is why I find it so hard to hold my tongue so I'll leave it at this, I will probably post something politicaly based again and if is gets me so ban so be it but its not to anoy you or anyone else, its more to point out that they should be held accountable! To prove I dont want to fight I also want to apologise for being rude, its just how I deal with certain situations, not in a very civil way! Take it or leave it but it is genuine and my mission on these boards is nothing other than to try to make some money and hope others do to.

@Gerry65 Thanks for the gold share info I'll take a look into them all later along with the Crux link you provided. I only came back to shares a few months ago and in my time away I forgot some of the basic rules which is why I missed out on the goldies, or did I? Surely they have higher to go as gold seems to be a decent bet for alteast a year or so minimum?

Thanks for the reply, I'm sitting on the sidelines waiting for news that could sway me on various shares but I cant get the niggly feeling out of my head that we are heading for another big fall in share prices along the board! Companies are starting to release results that are going to show how much devastation has been caused and job losses are incoming along with those already lost, the furlough scheme has only kick it down the road but it cant go on forever and the economny will not pick up enough to rectify the issues companies are going to have thus job losses.

I stupidly bought back into IAG yesterday which I feel could be one of my worst decisions yet! I've been looking at gold and other metal shares but not so sure about which to take a punt in and again I still think we will have another crash.

I read a few posts about people sick of reading all the doom and gloom posters which surprises me as surely they can see we are heading into some very choppy waters? Are they realy oblivious to whats actually going on around them? I understand investors who own shares dont want to read the bad stuff as they dont want to think about their share going down but some realy do need to oped their eyes to what could actually happen as its not all fine and dandy now the lockdown is ending (For now) I also understand the point that we get derampers for whatever their motive BUT are those who only see the positives especially in these times imo coudl be defined as rampers as they only post positive info and not a balanced viewpoint thus possibly giving some other investor a bad piece of info?

@Moniman I know your not a big fan of Stob so what is your actually buy in price and why do you see that figure as a good time to get in? Been watching this for a while with possibilty of dipping toes in ty.

No hes not, hes using part of his big payout to buy shares and it literally states he wont buy any shares if he doesn't get this payout! Its borderline bribery! If he was "Putting his money where his mouth is" He would buy shares even if he doesn't get his backhander! Why not invest all of it to show confidence? While the company struggles with Covid he not only wants his paypacket but a big fat bonus on top, yea no thanks! Voted down!

I cannot wait to see the outcome of this, if it gets voted down it will be interesting to see what comments they come out with but I have a strange feeling there will be enough votes to get it passed!

So the question you need to ask is why? Are those who say "Its priced in" Correct? Or is there more to it? If the rumours circulating are true regarding around 75 Countries with arbridges then the price should have moved upwards alot more should it not? The "Priced in" Brigade must have assumed it was less countries than that so surely it cannot be priced in and the sp should have moved up significantly more? Or maybe the insiders dont actually know the figures and they are all just guesses? Maybe theres issues with how the airbridges work? Maybe some countries dont want to allow us to travel due to the state we are still in?

We will only know once the news is out and I have to admit I am keeping my eyes peeled for that very moment so as to decide if I and sell up after the news. If its far better than we expected then I may stay but with all the other economic news out there I fear that once airbridge news has released there isn't much more to look forward to other than the biggie "Vaccine" I dont think the adding of a few other countries after that will make much difference unless maybe all of the USA?

I do think Menzies is a great share to be in but I just fear that the sp will drift over the coming months along with the market in general and thats assuming we dont have another massive correction! We still have lots of horrendous company results to come out and the furlough scheme coming to an end so joblosses will get worse causing the snowball effect and with so many more companies going bankrupt we are heading into uncertain times the last half of this year, remember when companies fall others dont get the money they are owed which can lead to them being in trouble. Be careful and remember its always good to take a profit.

I've never understood why people block others who post things that dont suit their narrative or thoughts? It makes more sense to keep them in "Plane" Site (See what I did there) Every single board has lovers and haters, not just on shares boards either but seeing another persons opinion even if it is outlandish can be eye opening sometimes and can actually make you do some research to either prove them wrong or maybe enlighten you a little bit more which funnily enough could help you make a better trading decision :)

I've said quite a few times I think we are in a majorly false situation now in regards to where stock markets are but one thing that keeps my hopes up is that surely the USofA wont capitulate and cause the biggest market crash in history? Some economists still think this could happen but some have been saying this since forever! One thing that is for certain is that markets will fall and markets will rise only to fall and rise again :)

The fall will always result in the rise of those who are strongest :)

P.S A big effing moth is in my house and just scared the sh*t out of me!

Not only wonder but worry! How can any economy have both these paragraphs coinsiding with one another? The whole thing is a farce, there is zero chance imo that we will have anything resembling a "V" Shaped recovery unless that V means f*****f you silly little traders you are all going to be alot poorer soon!

I watch some of the US economic shows and keep hearing about "Robinhood investors" Who keep piling more and more of their money into stocks, once the big boys decide enough is enough the rug is going to be pulled from under them!

The economy is screwed, there is no way the markets should be as high as they are and only is due to how much printed, sorry digital money has been pumped into an already overinflated world economy, it will burst at some point and those March lows will either be re-met or flown by on the way down!

All imo but my eyes are wide open to what might happen which is why I agree with some comments on here regarding trading day by day unless you find what you may consider a safer long term bet, if there is such a thing in these times?

Dont forget weekend figures will differ from weekday ones. Hopefully this is the start of them falling but I sadly think not!
